  1. Doesn't give a toss, get rid.

    Hatem Ben Arfa

    Depends how gullible you are.
  3. He's only picked the right team if you believe his bare faced lies about Ben Arfa.
  4. Swansea have conceded more than us yet Vorm is in. He wasn't in goal for most of those though.
  5. Presumably the point is more that he's playing in a team that will regularly concede 3 and 4 whenever one centre half is unavailable.

Perch improved so much that we sold him to Wigan for 750k.
  7. Ferguson's Man United were incredibly direct when they needed to be, particularly on the break. Course, he had the bottle (unlike Pardew) to get numbers forward in support quickly instead of pumping it to an isolated front man and telling the midfield to sit.

A flat track bully is what we need more then anything tbh.

Leaving out Cabaye and Remy doesn't fall into my definition of giving it a shot. Nor the manager's, judging by the way he expects us to accept getting thrashed by the mackems because he didn't have them.
  10. He's either a bare-faced liar, complicit in everything his despicable employer does or he's one of the thickest most gullible people in the history of football. Take your pick, not sure I fancy either as our manager tbh.
  11. It's all about Sunday and Thursday. Recipe for disaster.
  12. Not just that, it's also impossible to maintain a decent league position in case you end up down the bottom.

    Papiss Cissé

Surprised by that. Not least because he's Senegalese.
  14. So half of you wants to be towards the top of the league, but the other half doesn't want to be near the bottom. Thanks for that insight Alan, it makes less sense than anything I've ever heard. The Pardew Paradox.

Hope they get an arse raping of unprecedented proportions. And lose.
  16. Pardew cliche bingo full house!
  17. I can certainly see why he was worried about relegation when we played Cardiff. So worried in fact that he left out Cabaye who the club knew was leaving within three weeks anyway. Fucking pitiful wanker.
  18. They have no choice but to be more active because the sheer negligence of the last two seasons has left the squad desperately short in areas that are typically expensive. I've no doubt any money spent will be heralded as a sea change though, and we'll all be invited to kiss the feet of Mike Ashley once more.
  19. Right, well for six teams to get that total has never happened before in the history of the Premier League as far as I can tell so you'll have to forgive my not being entirely convinced that it'll start happening regularly from now on. Point is that you don't need to be better than anyone to finish in position X, you just need enough points (the overwhelming majority of which can be gained from the teams in the bottom half and are therefore completely unaffected by how much money another team spends). Concentrate on your own results instead of inventing hypothetical points totals for the teams above you in an attempt to convince yourself that we can't compete.
