He actually fucking said that. Quite apart from the Shola drivel, if Cisse hadn't done it twice in successive home games last season, Alan Pardew would probably have relegated us.

Sounds ridiculous because of how shit Villa were and how unremarkable the game was but I thought it was one of Coloccini's best ever performances for us. He kept getting left alone against two rapid players (whilst Dummett was off taking right wing corners) and it was laughable how easily he kept pinching the ball off them over and over again. Villa looked a real threat on the break until Coloccini got involved and made Premier League defending look pathetically easy.

Even one place higher puts him in Europa League contention, dependant on what happens in the cups, and we know the club does not want that under any circumstances. The spineless rat is more than happy to go along with it too because he knows that it shows up what a pitiful manager he is. Yep. I just don't get him. Everyone on the outside seems to think he's hard done by, working in horrible conditions, etc. If he got us in the top 7 again those sheep would be lapping it up. He'd be fine for a job elsewhere where he'd have control, etc. But fact is, this is the perfect job for him. He's got a good squad that will hide his massive deficiencies, get us challenging the top 8 places...something he'd never do if he had control over transfers anywhere else because he'd not have a Ba, Cisse, Ben Arfa, Remy, Coloccini or whoever to bail him out. Can't believe it took me so long to see through the fucker. Aye spot on. Not just that but not having control actually gets him off the hook! He gets below-par performances out of the players and people say "oh poor Pardew, can't buy his own players, has to live with the rubbish Graham Carr's dredged up." Aye I wish we'd snapped up Darren Bent when we had the chance instead of the useless fucking frogs.

Staff celebrating a win. Unforgivable. Celebrating by pulling faces at the nasty men in the press box?

What a complete loser he is. Unbelievably small time.

Wonder what Graham Carr thinks about Alan Pardew wanting us to get rid of Hatem Ben Arfa.
-
Aye, apparently he had a similar injury to the ones Cabaye and Remy had when we played Cardiff in the cup.

Most of them spent that last summer and this summer they'll be spending next year's.

I only feel compelled to defend Pardew firstly because I know him and secondly because the criticism on here, unlike at SJP, never seems balanced to me. But that's just my opinion and I am either less objective or more balanced because I know him. Maybe I am blind too far in favour but it does make me smile the way that we finished 5th the season before last gets completed obliterated from the history of NUFC because it doesn't suit an anti-Pardew argument. Still I guess I'm spouting complete shit, simply because I happen to have a different viewpoint. Please believe one thing, if you knew only some of what goes in behind the scenes and how the club is run, you might not change YOUR opinion, which I respect btw, but you might have a slightly different opinion of who is to blame. How long will you consider finishing 5th a reasonable defence for what's being served up? How many times will sunderland have to come and humiliate us on our own ground before finishing 5th a few years ago stops making that perfectly acceptable? Find it odd too that you've said that Pardew benefits from us selling our best players and reducing the wage bill. You've always known this. He was brought in to do Ashley's bidding and that's exactly what he does 100% of the time, and no doubt made good money from Cabaye going and not being replaced. Why on Earth would you sympathise with him?

Let's hope if there's as much as a single penny spent that Alan Pardew has absolutely fuck all to do with any of it.

I don't see what others see tbh. For me he's consistently the only player apart from that cunt Ben Arfa prepared to drive the team forward from deep without simply lofting an aimless clip towards Remy. He's actually very good at getting to the by-line and cutting it back, but it's difficult to make that a useful skill when nobody is interested in getting into the box.

I was surprised by the crowd around me generally celebrating as if we'd captured the title. Personally I felt almost completely empty. Don't think I've ever felt like that after a Newcastle winner. Three points closer to a competition that we actively admit we don't want to be in and the manager's job safe for a few more weeks. Joy indeed.

Why have we been playing Williamson and Taylor together recently? MYM was signed as Coloccini's long term replacement but your hero doesn't know how to use him. Why have we been playing Williamson and Taylor together recently? MYM was signed as Coloccini's long term replacement but your hero doesn't know how to use him. No he isn't. There is a long term placement for Colo who will arrive in the summer. And I don't know his name before you ask, just that a deal is in place. And from where I sat at SJP today, there was no hoofball, ONLY when Dummett had nowhere else to go. I saw a side desperately short of confidence and shorn of its most creative players trying hard to play football and working bloody hard in front of a quiet, tense, critical crowd. Oh and I always end up thinking that Agbonglehor is an incredibly underrated player. What's Yanga-Mbiwa then? And who are these creative players that we were shorn of?

Fair play. Just look forward to many years of humiliation at the hands of the mackems. ... who are in the relegation zone following a disastrous managerial appointment. I'm far from happy with Pardew and I'm not making excuses for him (he's more than capable of doing that for himself), I just can't see Ashley making anything other than a disastrous appointment to replace him. We've already got a complete disaster of a manager. At least we won today so at least you can console yourself with them pissing on our faces again next season and going out of both cups as early as we can.

Superb attacking options.

Anita's quality in a central pair like.

Pardew will be delighted. Double bonus - he doesn't have to use the useless twat, and then he can whinge that he didn't have the magic off the bench.

One of the great footballing quotes imo. "The naked eye" ffs. Cunt thinks he's Brian Cox. "At a molecular level, Shola's performance was perfection"

The Battle For More Points than 2010/11 - SUCCESS!
Wullie replied to Taylor Swift's topic in Football
Being within six points of West Ham is worthy of the sack on its own. They are pitiful, and our squad should have a lot more points than it does. -
Forgets, surely? "These French he's got are fucking amazing. I don't want them."
