  1. I don't think he's saying that at all.... more that we shouldn't buy substandard players to replace quality. I agree quite frankly, i'd rather wait till you can get top quality than settle for players which could be deadwood in a years time. Wait to get top quality? You think that's what we're doing? Please tell me you're not serious.
  2. You'll not have long to wait for an interview along those lines. Clear your diary for quarter to 3 on Saturday.

We've had pathetically easy FA Cup draws for at least the last five years and bombed out feebly every time. Having virtually guaranteed our place in the league for next season by the start of January, we were in the perfect position to go all out for the cup, and Pardew was too spineless even then.

    FA Cup winners Wigan? Nah.
  5. Not match fit, who would have thought that? Might have been a good idea to get him on New Year's Day in that case instead of waiting until two days before the derby. Cunts.

Johnson faking being headbutted is regarded ok it seems. What an absolute joke. It is but the big difference is Norwich didn't have a useless c*** of a manager going a post match interview saying it was a red - he really is an utter c*** that bloke. there was more than enough precedent that it was a red denying the obvious wouldn't have helped anything so why he fuck appeal then?? don't have a clue always looked a complete waste of time to me, the only surprise for me is they didn't throw in an extra game for wasting their time How is there "precedent" when Jonjo Shelvey made a much more prominent gesture towards Debuchy two months ago and the FA said it "did not constitute violent conduct"? off the top of my head Reina vs Perch and Barton got done retrospectively for something similar while at QPR (vs Norwich I think) both 3 game bans Er yeah, when Bradley Johnson threw himself to the floor again. Why did Shelvey not get a ban when he did it? Precedent seems to be that if one party pretends they've been struck, it's a ban, if they don't, then it's not.

They can hardly punish Johnson for cheating after the way that utter cunt Mike Jones went down when Sissoko gave him a well deserved slap.

Not always. Almost never in fact. I think it's happened twice in the history of the Premier League. It's definitely been urban myth week on here.

Can't believe he didn't want to talk to Joe Kinnear after Joe went to the effort of turning up drunk and stinking of p*ss.
  12. I swear to God they closed that "delay the suspension" loophole at least five years ago.

I really don't think it was. Aye he over-reacted but players know you can't do it, so why do it? 100% stupidity. Can't do what?

Regardless of whether you think it will be successful or not, the club is right to appeal. It was a preposterous red card. Not appealing because they know the system is ridiculous is tacitly giving that system credence.

No but it does now mean he's allowed to buy out his QPR contract.

What difference does it make to you personally if we have to pay over the odds for a player? it means we get less value, ie money wasted that could have been used on other players. it means nothng to me personally, as a fan wasting money like that means a lot. no doubt you'd have been chuffed had we spent 12mill on haidara, not your money after all? Money used on other players? Have you been living in a cave for the last five years? If we don't get this lad, we'll get absolutely fuck all and we'll not be signing anyone else even if he costs us thirty quid.

Absolutely creased at Sewelly's sigs, despite how many times I've seen them. Fuck this, I'm off to bed.

If it was up to madras we'd never pay good money for any player. Sick of reading the same drivel every window. Bet he's a fucking nightmare in Asda, haggling over every item before making the wife put it all back on the shelves and going home with fuck all.

Pardew won't win another derby regardless of who their manager is.
