It's 2nd, mate.

Aye, Happy Face won't be able to wank over his long ball charts for much longer. Couple of weeks we'll be back to the top of the long ball table because we've lost one player.
-
Cabaye, Remy and Gouffran all played at their place and they still rolled us over. As long as Pardew is in the dugout, they will win every single time, no matter what the XI is.
-
His performances are made to look worse because he's now the go-to set piece man despite the fact that he can't cross and can't shoot. Who the fuck has made that decision?
-
He's laughing at us. Drinks will be flowing for him, Mike and Joe tonight.
-
Still think a Cabaye-less Newcastle would have, at most, four points less?
-
Hope he waves at me next week.
-
Was he trying to get to him? Dunno what his intention was when he got there but he certainly got close.
-
Wish the bloke who ran on the pitch had got to him and kicked his fucking face off.
-
Only the second time I've walked out long before the end.
-
Ian, Brett, Foluwashola and Haris will be on later to slurp at his filthy arsehole, which will be weird since Pardew is lapping at Poyet's. Human Centipede 3.

We desperately need the first goal, our entire gameplan depends on it. Even if he only lasted until half time, De Jong should be on from the start.

I don't class finishing 8th as "doing well", nor do I put exiting the cups as soon as possible every year into that category.
-
It's typically the same people saying "we don't need to spend anything because we're doing fine without" that say we can't compete with the bigger clubs because they've got too much money to spend. You can't have it both ways.
-
Chelsea have 27 players on loan. It's a bloody farce.
-
This team/squad certainly wouldn't finish 8th over a season, not sure if that was the point you're making. They might this year given the sizable gap that we've created but we'll miss Cabaye desperately. Who over a normal season would finish above us then? Not really sure how to answer that. You're seriously kidding yourself if you think Cabaye hasn't been worth five points to us this season though.

I'd rather see De Jong than Shola. Not match fit? Shola hasn't been match fit since 2006.

Shola man. Fuck right off.

Based on money basically. Based on the money we are spending we are doing fantastically well, I'd agree. The problem is we have spent -38 million on transfers since Ashley came in. MINUS 38 million! To be in the top end of the table is no less than a miracle considering how we're being bled dry. Which leads to the simple conclusion our scouting is doing extremely well. Such a shame we have a billionaire owner who is unwilling to spend some money, not even money generated by the club itself. Imagine where we could be with a little bit of ambition, a little bit of trust in the scouting team and a little bit of investment in the squad and in a decent manager. We could be challenging up there, no doubt. We just choose not too. Indefensible from a fan's perspective, yet here you are, posting like a lunatic all day long on deadline telling people off who are understandably venting their frustration. I agree it would be nice if he would spend some of his own money, but unless the accounts show year-on-year profits I can't see how he isn't spending the money we generate. I agree a football club should reinvest all its profits, but we haven't really made any. Good God. I sincerely hope nobody (who doesn't know your game) ever comes on here and believes a single word of this. You always deny you're on the wind up, I really hope you are because if not, you're one of the dimmest people I've ever encountered. No matter how many times it has been explained to you, how a football club's accounts work, you continue to bash the keyboard with your face and post this utter drivel.

I just don't know what we could realistically do (with Mike Ashley as owner) to break the domination of those clubs ToonPack mentioned. I mean, we are competing with the top 6 now, what I don't know is how it's possible to compete with the top 3 or 4 without spending way beyond our means on a regular basis. Spending way beyond our means!!!! Fucking hell man - we haven't spent a penny in two full transfer windows man. We aren't asking for huge amounts to be spent. Christ almighty. Earth to Andy... I know that very well, what I'm saying is - it is understandable that we spend little when the requirements to move beyond our current position are so large. So you think it's better to hoard the money that the club brings in instead? Pure wummery.

Some of our supporters have a completely baffling attitude to elite sport. Pay hundreds of pounds to watch players being paid ten times as much for a week's work and yet have a point of view that is basically "it's the taking part that counts" It's completely alien to me.

For someone who hates gays, Toon Pack spends an extraordinary amount of time licking Ashley and Pardew's arse.
