Spotted him hacking at his own ligaments with an axe in the second half, cunt.

HBA slagged to fuck again whilst the Shola thread remains unbumped.
-
Very silly from Debuchy but the manager has to take full responsibility for a cowardly first 70 minutes. No matter how we're doing, he will always eventually revert to type, which is fear.

Bet Ben Arfa comes on after 70 minutes and tries to win the game for us, the selfish cunt. -

What the fuck is he playing at? -
Well exactly. Pardew said last season that Ben Arfa might be away if big clubs came in for him and cited Everton.
-
Martinez, having been asked about a £50m bid for Barkley: "£50m? No we'll not be sending him out on loan." Should have said they're always vulnerable to big clubs and that if Newcastle come in after selling Cabaye that he'll probably go.

Nope, you'd have to either a) put your mate into your brother's group, or b) create a new one, take your brother out of the one he's in, then back in after the game as you can only be in one at a time. Having said all that, I've never tried in person so that might be no help but I rang up the other day and had to mess around with groups to get me and my missus together for that game. It's a completely preposterous system and fuck knows who came up with it.

Was just about to post the same, didn't even realise half those players were there. Their squad is miles better than the one we came up with. Two England international strikers on the bench n all. Fuck me. 24 goals in 23 games. Absolutely dire. Maybe that fucking CUNT Hughton didn't do such a bad job after all (only joking, I know he did really).
-
hitting the woodwork twice against a 9 man stoke, before that he was as poor as the rest. Ah right, how many of the rest got dropped then?

Following his superb cameo at Palace followed by setting up two goals, winning a penalty and hitting the woodwork twice against Stoke, asking him to again be the impact sub just makes him think he needs to do more and more on his own imo, and that's exactly what he tries.
-
He was poor but at the same time he was massively isolated for the most part against the best centre back pairing the league has seen this season. I'd thought Koscielny was out for a while, irritating that.

Jesus. Did everyone think we were a massive club before pardew strolled in like? Baffled as to where you got "Everyone thought we were a massive club" from "Pardew's 'we're a tiny club' spiel is obviously rubbing off" mind. It was your comment about pardews spiel rubbing off. No ones suggesting we are a tiny club. All I'm saying is we are doing well with what we've got. We can't compete with those above us, so I'm unsure exactly what pardew has said wrong? We can't compete with Everton?
-
"But we're 5th!" has become "but we're 8th!" So far I've enjoyed this season more than I did that one fwiw like.
-
Article makes some good points in my opinion. Aye it was always proper "baffling" that Chelsea never gave Curbishley a job. Still can't believe it tbh.
-
We haven't even got 36 points.

Are you being critical just for the sake of it? We played well today and deserve credit for doing so. We didn't play well at all. A narrow 1-0 defeat to a set-piece goal at home to the team of the season may well read good, but in reality we were poor. We offered little goal threat, played too many long balls and were one paced playing at a low tempo. We contained them well enough but at the expense of getting at them. we did play well, after they blew themselves out we matched them, probably even created the better chances. your bias is getting terrible. I'm voting for you for best non nufc fan in the awards. Did we fuck play well. Playing well was us vs Palace, or us vs Chelsea. This was us playing containment football, the typical Pardew approach. Our best chance came from the face of Remy who chased down a back-pass that their 'keeper made a right balls of clearing. We didn't test their 'keeper once. The last 20 minutes were an eye-sore, players all over the place forcing play or aiming it long to that lump Shola. It was identical to the Chelsea game man.

Just seen this. For fuck's sake man, what an arsehole. Good Lord.

Pardew still hasn't decided whether we're a 4-4-2 team or a 4-3-3 team (tbf he's only had 3 years to decide). Those wide roles in the two formations are very different. You can get away with having a player like Gouffran wide in a 4-4-2 - hard working, doesn't cross much but has decent movement and will get 8-10 goals a season from simply popping up in the right place - Ljungberg was the absolute master at that job. In a 4-3-3 though? Not for me, you need players much more threatening to do that job than Gouffran. If you go 4-3-3, HBA has to play.
-
I'm sure he has been massively disappointed in Gouffran's last 5 home performances before this one. Not at all, he's a decent player, works like Jonas but with a very useful Nolan-esque knack of where to put himself to get a goal. But let's not kid ourselves that he's got even a fraction of HBA's effectiveness with a ball at his feet.
-
I'm hoping Pardew does what he did when we finished 5th and let's Ben Arfa play now that we've got a points cushion and nothing to lose. Probably won't bother in case HBA makes a huge fuck up like last time and helps us get into Europe, ruining an entire season in the process.
-
Another one. Who was making better decisions either before or after he came on? Gouffran. There was one pass he made to Coloccini that was sensationally sensible. Fifteen yards, backwards, straight line. Don't miss it tonight on MOTD.
