  1. if being nowhere near was my house and being selected was brisbane, he was just outside westerhope macdonalds.
  2. I obviously detested him but booing's just a bit childish so I don't. Gave him plenty of abuse though, more to Schwarzer though when he kicked the ball back to Krul instead of out for the throw we should have had, the fucking dirty Smoggy cunt.
  3. Where the fuck's Kevin Nolan?
  4. Carroll has seven times as many Premier League goals as the rest put together this season.
  5. The good results suggest that there is enough quality there for us to be doing far better at home than we are. If we'd beaten Stoke, Blackburn and Blackpool but lost at Everton, Arsenal and West Ham, would you be saying the same about the away form? No, but then it's fairly obvious that winning away games is more difficult than winning home ones, which is the point I'm making. I'd be surprised if any/many sides over the last ten years had better away records than home ones. That's what is so frustrating. That's what gives me more confidence though. We'll pick up more than enough points at home over the season because we've shown fleetingly at home and more consistently away that we're a decent Premiership side.

  7. Indeed and through no fault of his own, his two most creative players were absent today.
  8. You really are f***ing clueless like. Ahh, we don't you join the f***ing boo boys you clown. You really see something wrong with people expecting more than 2 points from Stoke/Wigan/Blackburn/Fulham/Blackpool? You think that's too demanding? As far as this season goes, as long as we get enough points to stay up, I'm not arsed where they come from. Out of interest, would you give Hughton a new contract if we carry on how we are at home & finish 17th? Probably yes, I don't think that will happen though.
  9. We're not even in the relegation zone on home form btw, four teams are worse than us. Only four better away.
  10. yawn It's true. They've found a way of playing that suits their players and it gets them the results they need. It's exactly what we need, as right now we don't have a Plan B. ... And yet they've still managed to lose seven games this season. Only Man U and Spurs have left the Britannia Stadium with 3 points this season - including Fulham and Blackburn. That's the form that will keep them up. Doesn't matter if the points come home or away, as long as they come. I like that this has become 'the line' for people not willing to criticise anything we're doing atm. My point is, you build your season and form based on winning the winnable games - there's no way that the away form will continue - of course there's a chance that it will, but it's very very unlikely. We can't rely on going to the likes of Spurs and Villa and Liverpool to pick up points, so the home form will have to pick up otherwise we'll drift down the table. Well yeah we will drift down the table... did you expect us to finish fifth going into today? Q: do you think we will manage 6 wins out of 25, home and away, before the end of the season?

And yet they've still managed to lose seven games this season. Only Man U and Spurs have left the Britannia Stadium with 3 points this season - including Fulham and Blackburn. That's the form that will keep them up. Only Man U and City have welcomed Newcastle and taken three points at home - including West Ham, Everton and Wolves, who all took maximum points off Stoke. That's the form that will keep them up. What point are you making?
  12. Liverpool at home don't scare me like, I think we'll do them. Fucking crap.

  14. Losing him for Bolton is a disaster. Does give away a few too many fouls at home in his eagerness to get the ball back but some of the stuff he gets booked for is astonishing. At least three times, Fulham players cynically chopped Jonas down as he made his way into space and didn't even get a talking to. Tiote regularly gets booked for nudging players who then throw themselves down.
  15. I'm unsure as to how Ranger will cope in this league I'd be alright going into Fulham with Routledge Tiote Guthrie Jonas Nolan Carroll Nolan's entire game now is based around popping up unawares and finding space in the box. How's he going to do that with a centre half assigned to mark him and him alone?
  16. Decent shot and finish on him has Routledge. In the Championship that is, even when there's no-one around him, his performance seems to be affected by which badge is on his sleeve, the sod.
  17. It's a lot easier to arrest poor home form than away form yet if we'd won those three home games but lost at West Ham, Goodison and the Emirates, everyone would be much happier. We suffer a little bit from SJP still being perceived as a difficult place to go, especially with a cursory glance at the two murderings we've handed out. He's always negative as fuck but even Allardyce won't go 5 at the back with two defensive midfielders at the other promoted teams.
  18. Onouha? (sp) Oh aye. Who was shambolic against us.
  19. Don't forget Jenas who has also flourished outside the goldfish bowl. He even got on the pitch a few weeks ago.
  20. I'm not worried. Remain confident we'll beat the likes of Everton and Spurs like we always do, same way we always struggle against Blackburn and Wigan. It might be frustrating but these results are nothing new.
  21. Against teams that all got relegated.
