Various: Mike Ashley in talks with Sheikh Khaled bin Zayed Al Nehayan
Big Geordie replied to Kaizero's topic in Football
Can Ashley afford to take another hit that relegation world bring? Bare in mind he’s a asset stripped the club of commercial revenue. No TV money means he and the club are fucked. Maybe it’s the only way to get him out though? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -

I was at the home game v Luton 20 odd years ago - Tony Thorpe scored a belter from 30 yards. Watched the replay in the SU at Uni - everyone else shouting for Luton. :-( :-D It’s a good draw - might try and take the g/f and bairn. No way it will be on tv. BBC/BT got to make sure Man United are on. :-( Rob Lee will be stoked, mind - as will his lads. :-) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -

It wasn't me! :: I used to live a couple of streets away from Ayresome Park when I was at Teesside Uni.

Blackburn away - canny day out Knowing our luck, we will pull a PL team at home and Rafa will play the reserves. -
We are still 5 points off the bottom 3. We need a win from the next two games though. Gateshead still 0-0 with Luton.
-
Any live FA Cup games on BBC/BT today? PL choice on Sky doesn't look that interesting.

Well, it wasn't a humping and we did OK at times, but again - the gulf in class and ability is huge. Again highlights how much the lack of investment of recent, has set us back. Ashley really has screwed us over - again. -

If the takeover falls through, I can see Rafa bailing out at the first opportunity - there won't be a lack of suiters. From that point onwards, the club is dead - finally. -
The whole West Ham/Olympic Stadium deal stinks to high heaven. Utter corruption.

Can’t see owt other than a WBA win here. They haven’t won in the league since August, we can’t score goals and are in poor touch. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -

If the takeover collapses, it may take another relegation as well as a few years in the championship, to rid ourselves of the cancer that is Ashley. Once he starts losing too much money, he will sell up. He should sell now if he is serious, but make no mistake how much he hates us supporters. He'd happily continue fucking us over, for the sake of a few million quid.
