Terrific news for Blyth - they have had a wonderful season, after the disappointment of the last campaign (finishing 2nd to Darlington, on 99 points and not going up) They will defo be in FM18 later in the year. I also see South Shields have won promotion to the NPL division 1. I wish them well.

Going up as champions would be nice, but all of us would have taken 2nd place at the start of the season - and we still would. It's all about promotion first and fore-most. Too many poor performances tonight, bar Shelvey and Darlow. I'm not sure whether it's tiredness, a lack of mental toughness or loss of form. Perhaps it's a bit of all three? We all know the squad needs a complete over-haul in the summer. Rafa will know this, but will Ashley back him. That's the million dollar question. I'll be very pleasantly surprised if Rafa is still here, come August. Never under-estimate the ability of Mike Ashley's Newcastle United to shoot itself in the foot.

Bender Squad are men in their late 40's and 50's, going through a mid-life crisis. The lad in question (who has ogranized this) now seems to be going through the friends lists, of those of us who have argued against it. One lad is having his family brought into it. Mentalist.

Been some mentions that The Bender Squad are involved in this (a Newcastle hooligan knacker group) Unconfirmed though. I've had my support called into question, despite offering rational arguements. Seems as if what's going to be on the banner is going to be decided via a vote, but I'd imagine that will be rigged too. It's just very grubby and childish.

The 'plane' has apparently been paid for, so the knuckle-draggers among wor lot have got their way.

Just reading from the bad officiating thread - apparently the 4th official argued with Stroud for a couple of minutes, telling him that he had got it wrong. Stroud wouldn't have any of it. Prick! Rafa refused to talk about it on 5Live, but you could tell he was foaming! Another win tonight and a step closer to promotion. Nothing is ever easy when it comes to Newcastle United though - we all know that. Keith Stroud should never be allowed to ref one of our games again - that's if he's not sacked.
