Benitiez' great reputation doesn't make him immune from criticism. He's made poor tactical choices, poor subs and team selections. That said, he's been let down by some of the players consistently under-performing and Ashley interfering again. I'll say it again, but I'll be amazed if he is here, come May.

Looks very short on confidence, which is a real worry.

Tried to get forwards tonight - showed some pace, which we seriously lacking. Offered far more than Gouffran and Perez.

I've jokingly said on here/elsewhere before that I can see Pardew coming back at some point. Remember, Kinnear darkened our doors a 2nd time and Pardew is the perfect front man for Ashley. As ever, time will tell.
