Are the stories about him wanting away last summer true? Wonder if it's owt to do with his mother being racially abused off one of their lot. In all honesty, I think it's a good piece of business by Sunderland - problem is that they will find his goals (15-20 a season in the PL) very hard and expensive to replace.

Mick Lowes said this morning that he was sure that non of the TV cameras caught the Harper being pushed over incident. That would explain as to why it wasn't shown on MotD2. Beggars belief if I'm honest with the amount of cameras that are around the pitch these days!

Various reports that it was on the pitch before KO. If it was one of our lot that took it (and clipped it's wings) - they want feckin shot.

The players can hold their heads high today, IMO. They all put the shift in that many of us believed was beyond them.
