As well as we've done, surely it's a big ask to hang on through this during the second half. Lack of chances for Carroll is a worry for me.

I'd have Ranger in for Nolan and Harper back for Krul. I'd also take a look at the DC pairing.

A case of not our day, as well as being let down by poor defending. The defence is being a cause for concern because due to the suspensions of Wliiamson and Colo, we have been unable to get a settled DC pairing and when Taylor and Campbell have come in, they've hardly set the world alight. Nolan misses for Spurs on Tuesday, due to picking up a 5th booking of the season. It's gonna be a season of results like this - all that matters though is getting to that 40points total asap. I'd also look to replace Jonas down the left because he offers us f**k all.

As I said I think it was more of era thing. 4 TV stations, net not widely, available so people thought instead of going to the social club to play 5 & 3s they would go to Roker Park instead. I wouldn't expect you to get it tbh. Go back a bit further in history & loads of fans used to watch both clubs. Something I cant understand but again different era. My dad used to do that when he was a kid. St James one week, Roker the next. Was common place back then.

I also suspect if there is any mileage in this and Ashley is trying to force him out, Barton won't stay quiet on it
