Radio Newcastle now questioning Viduka's commitment to the cause with his lack of recent availability. There must be a rabbit off somewhere there.

Smith again ? Backs up the rumours about that clause in his contract about having to play if fit.

Shepherd and his IDIOTIC choice Allardyce have DESTROYED NUFC

Club has been going backwards since the summer of 2003 when we only got Bowyer in on a free. Been downhill all the way since then. -
KK has to start dropping underpeforming players though, even if it means chucking in the likes of Edgar, Troisi, Lua-Lua and Carroll. If some senior players aren't bothered (which seems to be the case) , they shouldn't be in the side.

A result tonight that many of us could see coming a mile off and that's the worrying thing. I know you have to take into account who we were playing, but it's not like tonight was a blip. It's been happening for the last 10 games, if not the last 3-4 months. It's probably as dark as time now for the club since the run in during 91/92. That time we stayed up with a bit of luck and fight. The players look devoid of either of them at the moment. If KK can't lift them, then we are in trouble (if we aren't already) You kind of get the feeling that any manager would struggle to lift this shower. As I said in another thread - 6th highest wage bill in the Premiership and this is what we get in return? There isn't much to be optimistic at the moment. Guess it's just fortunate that we have a 6 point cushion. How long will that last for though.

We face a relegation fight - don't see how anyone can deny it now to be honest. The players aren't playing for the club/badge and they certainly aren't playing for the manager. Yes confidence is low, but it's no excuse for what went on not only today but in the past 10 games. 6th highest wage bill in the Premiership and look what we get in return - total $hite. Bedlington Terriers could beat us at the moment - that's how bad we are. It's going to be an awful run in to the end of the season - real edge of the seats stuff. I hope KK starts by consigning the likes of Smith, Butt and Barton to the reserves never to be seen again. Simply not good enough. -

Relegation here we come ! Most of them should never be allowed to play for the club again. -

Poor again - the decision to play Charlie at LB backfiring for the first goal and since then we just haven't competed. Barton woeful again. It's gonna be another 4 or 5 nil. -

Everyone ready for the non-performances by our two ex-Man United players ? I think this line up is hoping to contain the Mancs and perhaps it also shows that Viduka has no future under Keegan if Smith is getting in ahead of him. As I speak, Portsmouth have just scored a pen v the mackems - Defoe. -

Newcastle; Given Beye Taylor Faye N'Zogbia Butt Barton Duff Milner Smith Owen --------------- Doesn't inspire me with any more confidence. Smith again? -
Christ - looks a really nasty one.

From the You Tube link, it looks like a late challenge that happens 10 times a game. Hard to see from the angle though. I wish Eduardo all the best, although some are mentioning that it could be a career ending injury. Hope not for the lad.

Emre is a write off. Might be our most creative midfielder, but he should be moved on in the summer. And if Butt and Smith play, they'll do their usual bend over and get f**ked routine as they normally do when we face this lot. -
What's all this parrot business ? Is it just bullshit or what ?

Never heard anything bad about him. Hopefully he'll bring plenty of experience to the club.

Can't see anything other than a Manc win here. What will be interesting is what kind of performance the players put in. If it ends up being a walkover, then some of them will doubtlessly have played their last game for the club. KK will be looking for a reaction tomorrow - will he get it though ? It's gonna be very tough tomorrow and I'm sure the Mancs will be intent on goading us over the present situation. -
Part of Gazza's problem is that he was easily led. Not only by his advisers who shafted him in the end, but also those 'friends' who hung onto his coat-tails (not specifically 5 Bellies). I wonder where they are now ? Nowhere to be seen, I bet. I wish him all the best with his recovery.

Apparently it's just been on SSN, according to someone on another forum. Anyone got any more info ?
