I think the opposite. I think all these players were are signing now are being signed now rather than later and in the summer we will sign no f***er. Might not be far off here. I wonder if these are being signed in the event of us not going up, and some (if not all) of the bigger earners being sold on in the summer? -
What this business about Chopra at the Palace game?
Big Geordie replied to Big Geordie's topic in Football
Not good but I can't blame Chorpa for reacting like that. We do have some real wankers amongst our ranks. -
Was just wondering after I read it being alluded that something happened to Chopra on Weds night. Can someone fill in the blanks please?

Leicester City 0-0 Newcastle United - 30/01/10 - Post match reaction from p25

Poor game and Hughton got what he came for, with his negative tactics - though Leicester were worth their point. Hughton shows fear in his team selections when we go away from home- two players in the middle of the park who do the same job (Smith and Nolan) - no flair and pace and loads of long ball. If he had been braver after they went down to 10men, we could and should have won the game. In the end he bottled it. Thought the back 4 did well considering they all barely knew each other, Routledge looked our only decent attacking outlet and that's it. Rest were not even average. -

As someone said earlier, this is all they've had to shout about in a long time. Can't really blame them for doing it though - it's what rivalry is all about. It'll come back and bite them on the arse soon enough. Imagine them if they are relegated and we go up?

Has Ashley sold the catering rights at St James Park

Corporate catering was mentioned. Is that not separate to kiosks, etc? -
Has Ashley sold the catering rights at St James Park

I've not heard of anything about this, prior to hearing the call on Radio Newcastle tonight. Just wondered if there was any truth in it. -
Just been mentioned on Radio Newcastle that Ashley has sold off the Corporate catering rights at St James Park and has trousered £13million as a result. Can anyone confirm this? If it's true - where has the cash gone?
