Arsenal 2-0 up at PSV. Lewis-Skelly lucky not to be sent off though for a 2nd yellow (5Live)

I think it's the fact that the new manager hasn't had much of an effect and some of the players that have been brought in simply aren't bothered. Some are saying 'jobs for the boys'.

Did anyone catch would Howe said post-match?

Brainless from him today.

I agree with others in that this squad needs breaking up in the summer - it's come to the end of it's shelf life. -

Should never under-estimate the ability of this football club to shoot itself in the foot. We've not been good enough today - again, abiet against a very good Brighton side. -

What the hell was Gordon thinking? Stupid, stupid, stupid and will now miss the final v Liverpool you would think. We've not been great 2nd half at all, but as good as Brighton have been - they've also had the run of the ball. -
Yup - it's been pish first half.

I think we've been OK, but the worry is our lack of pace at centre-half, which led to their goal. Worth remembering that these are a very good and dangerous side too. -
RvN should never have taken that job.

Tony Y. I've known him a long time and whilst he also supports Sunderland, he's dyed in the wool Blyth Spartans and a good lad. He's also worked for the club in various capacities down the years (inc stadium announcer) Spartans are in real trouble - it would seem the previous owner took out debt on the club, lined his own pockets and left it for the CIC to deal with when they took over. Wouldn't be surprised if the club goes into administration at some point and may well end up back in the Northern League.

Got a sneaky feeling about Bournemouth winning the FA Cup this season......

Another hammering on the road for Blyth Spartans - 5-1 at Bamber Bridge. 10 man Ashington also lost, 2-3 at home to North Ferriby.

Bournemouth 1 Wolves 1 Cuhna with a 35 yard raker

Having just seem today's, it's as bad. Shocking - what was the keeper thinking?! Hope Mateta is OK.

Were they not propped up by Franco, during the days of Puskas and Di Stefano? (genuine question)

His race at this club is done I think, come the summer and it really saddens me to say that.

Damage limitation tonight - avoided a pasting, hopefully any new injuries and Isak rested. Although it's disappointing we haven't really tried to lay a glove on them. I've watched coverage with John Champion and Jim Beglin on comms - very biased towards the scousers.
