Bigger picture is here is that if all of the better assets are moved on and we are left with the dross/youth team then this season becomes a real struggle. People could begin to stay away from games and when the club is still losing money hand over foot, then the administration word comes to the fore again. Ashley won't put any more of his own cash into keeping us going, so when there's nothing left to sell..... you do the maths.

Moat can't do anything, because Ashley holds all of the cards. With regards to a replacement for Taylor, it'll be some young kid on loan or the likes of Sol Campbell (on a free) No way on gods earth Ashley will pay a fee for a player and lets face it, who the hell would want to come here permanently at the moment as it is?
-
Skirge - I'm sure they heard, but the owner and his cohorts don't give a f**k. He wants as much of his money back as he can get and if that leaves us with only the youth team to put out, that's what he'll do. What a fat c**t.

Disappointing news if true. Suggests to me that the takeover may well now die on it's arse, if Taylor is prepared to leave. If he goes, I wish him well but I seriously worry for the future of this football club.

Was a brilliant turnout - has to be said.

Deserved win, but by christ did we make hard work of it! Players just seemed to run out of gas in the 2nd half and once again the lack of pace and movement was there for all to see. However, a wins a win and we've made a good start. Still need some extra bodies in though. Coloccini was rubbish in the first half. Wednesday looked to play the ball over the top of him to get him turned. He always allows the striker to get goal side. And this from an £10million international defender. Bloody schoolboy stuff. Crowd very impressive tonight and the atmosphere was good. Wednesday fans were a bit quiet throughout, only singing in bursts (was sat directly below them in the Leazes)

I'll be heading up in the morning for a couple of tickets. Hope the queues aren't bad. -

Can I be the first to say that Francis Jeffers is a jug-eared gimp. Thanks. -

I'd suggest we'll get close, particularly if Wednesday fetch as many up as they reckon they are. -
I listened in one night last week - seems OK. Prefer the Legends though - better craic (for me) Problem is with Radio Newcastle when they've had phone-in's in the past - calls are vetted before they get to air. Is this show any different?
-
Graeme Roberts sounds like an attention seeking prick. And is David Speedie involved too? Christ - we had Wise and now bloody Speedie. Whoever next?
-
We do. The cash for Nolan and Ryan Taylor was paid in full and up front.
-
I'd like to know where the money from the player sales has gone, if not to reduce the overdraft? And if the cash is yet due in, then why sell them on the bloody never-never?
-
I'm no fan of Warnock, but he's bang on with this one. Disgusting from the officials.
-
Would happily take Campbell to partner Taylor and let Coloccini leave the club.

Will be going along to this. Taking one of the lads that I care for, so doing it as a shift. We'll probs sort some tickets on Weds am. Here's hoping they have some concessions left for disabled supporters, otherwise - Leazes Level 7 it'll have to be. -
Can't be faulted at all today. Well done the big man. Wish he could do it consistently though - that's always been his biggest problem.

Northumberland lass, IIRC.

Good win and performance I thought. Could see the confidence boost that the first goal gave the side - could have very easily been 4 or 5. Had almost forgotten what a win feels like to be honest, so it's given the rest of the weekend a good feel. One swallow doesn't make a summer though and whilst it's provided a bit of a platform, things are still very uncertain. Need to get that fat southern **** out of the club and then we can move forwards again. -

'Stand up if you hate Ashley' being sang, I think. -

Suggests that he's coming back to stay. Expect the club to be taken off the market early next week and Kinnear back in charge. -

Again - a serious lack of pace. Curtails our options severely.
