Not sure he does anymore does he?

I might be looking too much into it, but it wasn't very nice to see tbh. Maybe that's why HBA had the 'quiet' finger on mouth celebration? Some of the things Pardew does with HBA reminds me on Soueness & Robert although it hasn't quite gone that bad....yet Total tosh. What quiet finger? He was pointing to the crowd saying that was for you, then did the same and a heart sign towards the bench ffs. Be lying if I said I've not been worried about Pardew's handling of Ben Arfa up to now but I don't think there was owt in that celebration at all. He touched his lips for about half a second, it wasn't a shushing gesture at all. Pardew's quotes about possibly playing him out wide are very welcome. Yup, I don't think there is a problem between them particularly, other than the obvious question, why the fuck am I not getting a game when Obertan or Shola are. A fair question now his overall fitness is looking good again, but I can see the logic behind Pardews reticence where a lot of our progress has been down to keeping us tight defensively all over the pitch. He needs to use Ba being away to unleash the lad now though, whether that is out wide (and that issue could be more down to where Ben Arfa saw himself when he joined, Pardew never totally ruled it out) or wherever. He needs to play.

Derby at home. -
Nope. Bit tatty mind that on the pitch you could still see the NR logo underneath. Virgin Money ffs.

Not seen him play much, but he's Dijons top scorer this season. Got 7 in 18 in the league. Not a Tiote replacement then, grand.
-
Forgive my ignorance, but can anyone give us an idea what this lad is like? ... and why the ex mackum prick is not accepting our blockbuster offer?
-
You what? 7 or so loan deals under Hughton and Pardew suggests that the club are more than willing to use the loan system when necessary.

Maybe not more than happy, but somewhat happier than losing a good player halfway through a season to be fair to him.

Looks fat. Get rid.

See, it's photostream titles like that that make me love the club just a little more. -
I do have some sympathy but it's fair to say, players come, players go, if Tiote wants out and the team stays strong and the price aint low, it doesn't really matter. To me. To me. Bohemian Rhapsody Why did you fucking remove it you junky Sorry.

L'Equipe: Modibo Maiga fails medical; transfer 'abandoned'

FYP 3:47 gets me every time. Fucks sake man, he was our manager Without being a morbid/evil sod, thank fuck he had 'health problems' and had to go early. Didn't he claim to have a 2 year contract waiting to be signed? If his health hadn't failed, I'm almost certain we wouldn't have gone down that year. Depends on your view of our relegation as to whether that was a good thing or not. -
Great to see.

Simpson is thought to have agreed a four-and-a-half year deal, but there is a “discrepancy” in the personal terms over how his salary will be paid – hence the reason for the reluctance to sign the contract offered by United. Seems strange that so many are apparently unfussed by this as for me it would be difficult to improve on him both as a player and a character, especially as a quality rotation/backup option. Had a rough start to the season but has for the most part been terrific and in this case don't see much need to for more upheaval and changes to a small squad that seem to enjoy working with each other. Surprised that they couldn't work something out as both sides seemed positive about the new contract.

It's a set of football club chrimbo cards which by definition are mainly going to be given as a fun thing to young kids. Just how classily somber and stylish do you expect them to be? "Pardew in a pear tree". Arf.
