  1. Will have a canny career at Brighton.
  2. Payout aside (which was always certain) it sounds like she put the club first, knowing her skills and knowledge can only take it so far and there are people in place now who understand it all better than her. I mean if so, she's an even bigger legend.
  3. A lot going on and the nufc badge is too big.

    NUFC Transfer Rumours

Two weeks this weekend before the season starts. With Howe's methods of taking time with bringing in players into the team, so whoever we sign won't be ready till september now. Not good enough Imo. Not when Howe will be under pressure to deliver this season and we're already on the back foot and in desperate need of recruitments, especially after having to sell 2 of our best young talents to valance the books they fucked up last year. I know people will cry patience etc...but it's August in a couple of days. When does it run out? Mine has tipped today. Kept quiet all summer but it's been a farce from the club. Probably woke up on the wrong side of the bed, I'm tetchy this morning 😂
  5. Ugh. Has the potential to sting for the next 10 years, this one. I just have to remind myself this is what Chelsea fans are going to feel with Livra & Hall.
  6. Hope and think he stays. Reckon we need him for another season at least as Hall & Livra cement their positions. It's been one way for them both since breaking into the team, but theyll inevitably dip and that's when having trippier around will help.

    Lewis Hall

Imagine the redemption story if Eddie made a player out of Lewis with 1 year left of his contract. Bigger than any other at this point.

Can we not just buy Minteh back for £40m? Seems the best option.

Ran out of everything 2xl and above within an hour and those were heavily stocked. But aye. It's toon fans that are fat wasters. 😂 I'm guessing the queue was for all those on PIP, no wonder so many there.

If he's to move up, that's his role though. He's fighting another guy, maybe more, to start. It's the same for his England career. He needs to show he can displace, or at least cause his manager a headache for starting, and Isak can play the wing, and I wouldn't be against 2 upfront in some games as well. Isak has injuries in him, he also goes missing a bit. There are plenty of moments to steal, and if his form is good, Howe doesn't drop in-form players. I don't see a queue of suitors for him. This could make a lot of sense for all parties.

Thiaw. Nico Gonzalez. Ivan Toney. Would be a 8/10 window, just what we need.
  14. £35m to Brighton in 2025. Nice.
  15. At least it's only 1 more year of this shite. Useless.
  16. He's the head coach with final say on 1st team players. That's all it needs to be.
  17. This is a very pragmatic way of looking at it, and I agree. But rather he stayed. Poch kicking about on a free would soften this massively, but would much rather he committed here. The new board might have a big deciding to make. They'll need to offer him a new contract this summer, ehich I'm guessing they'd have preferred to see how this new season panned out after a so so one last time. Always felt Staveley & Howe had a good bond, that alone might make him vulnerable especially if new faces without connections are making decisions.
  18. Aye. Brace yourselves, a shitstorm is coming.

I'm guessing the lack of activity is down to the reshuffle in ownership and board level. I would have thought we had a couple of names lined up early. Euros probably hasn't helped, but that would suggest we're buying from that pool.

Safer. People didn't throw their pints in the air when their team scored and pubs were full of older gents not coked up chavs.
