One door closes... No chance we see him this early without that. By the time the season ends we'll have another trusted and solid option.
-
Totally different player to the one we signed. All upstairs as well. Big test for him returning to goodison. Keep calm, score and bring home 3pts. Would put to bed a few things.

If its 2018 then it should be outside current ffp window and not count towards current calculation. Probably doesn't work like that, but it should. Anyway, I thought we were going to be booted off the planet for this according to the mackems, so it's not too bad considering.
-
Not long before the mackems claim him as one of their urn.

Depends. Results in the league are papering over the cracks. New shareholder might speed things up.

Potter will do a Howe. Time out, review, build on himself and be ready for when a top job comes along. This time though he'll be more grateful for what he had. Could him going to Villa once Emery leaves for manu.

Back to back defeats and it's knives out for uncle Tony who's being stabbed in the back by the self proclaimed best fans in the werld. Doesn't even get to sit down and have this Christmas Dinner, and enjoy a chocolate bar or two. Poor bugger. Always said he was too nice for the inbreds, especially considering how close they all are to their family. Most fickle fans in the world. Wonder who their next messiah is? Steven Seagull?

Champions League 2023/2024: Group F (Newcastle, Milan, Dortmund, PSG)
Dokko replied to Marko NUFC's topic in Football
Anything but a loss in the last game and it's a fucking brilliant 1st campaign in the CL. Would mean only one of those 3 seasoned teams beat us and only one got the better of us. Mad it's dortmund. Incredible effort. -
Dead against recalling Minteh, but much rather do that than go in for a 3rd attempt at Ekitike....and poss8blg be rejected. Fuck him, his agent and his stalled career. We've got a lad who's already bought into the club, let's reward that instead (if we had to)

Aye, euro 96 was peak football. Games at SJP, queuing outside the chronicle for free tickets for France vs Romania (iirc) with loads of older lads and blokes, Shearer doing the biz and another almost there moment. 3 lions flooding the airwaves. El tel felt responsible for the mood, certainly a manager who could tap into the support and galvanise a nation. RIP.

He'll be better than Anderson, but think Anderson still becomes a player, once he sits further back. Both will be miles ahead of Longstaff (and i'm one of his biggest fans on here) at his age, which is great for the club. I really hope Murphy, and one or two of the recent young signings we've made also make it.
-
One of his best performances in a long long time. We need this from him right now.
-
Wouldn't say it's shit, it's competitive, and no team is the finished article, that's why so many beat each other. 26pts from 17 games (1.53ppg) in the prem is just shy of 20pts at this stage of the season, which puts you 9th, same as them and 2pts outside of the European places, and 3pts behind ourselves.
-
Don't get putting three keepers on the bench, unless he's trying to signal to the board the situation, to which you'd think they are aware, and only if they are refusing to back him, which you'd assume is not the case. Surely we could have put a couple of other kids on the bench as well as the ones we had? Give him more options outfield. Of course it was fine in the end, so a completely pointless observation from me.

pathetic that like.

JR covering his mouth to ask how many we buying in Jan?
-
Plays like he's 5 years older than he is. God know what he'll be like in 5 years.

Agreed, but do think Howe stepping off training has to be reviewed. He's been worried about this, and it's almost a self fulfilling prophecy. Hindsight is a wonderful thing, but the 'hardly trained due to amount of games' comments from Howe, shows he's not positively tried to fix this, but went over cautious and now the squad just isn't fit enough to deal with it. Lessons learned like, and at least the board will react in a months time, probably some creative loaning. We need to exploit the fuck out of the KSA league, and let that get us through to the summer and not bother with it again.

Questions have to be asked within the club, like.
