If this was simply about the money why didn't he just see his contract out until it ended or he got sacked? His natural proven reaction is to walk away...he walked and still wants paying for it. You do know the man in your avatar and signature 'fleeced' the club when he left? No he didn't. His contract was a rolling12 months, if he was SACKED he was owed 12 months worth of money, simple as. What's the difference between that and Keegan being forced out of his job with three years still left on his contract and wanting that money? That's assuming that the tribunal rules in Keegan's favour. Massive assumption, and you really have to go on track record, which doesn't favour KK. He didn't get a world class player....Waaaaa He got enforced financial restraints on him (like most jobs).....Waaaaaa His budget changed (like what happens in business)....Waaaaa It wasn't quite what was on the brochure....double fuking waaaaaaaa....Shit happens, people oversell the dream, KK just as guilty of that a few times himself...more waaaaa. He should have told the fans WTF was going on and that he'd stick by us, as apparently he loves the club more than anyone and understands it even more...but instead through in the towel at the 1st sign of resistance. Massive assumption? Possibly, but if someone gets accused of stealing and has been done 2-3 times already for that crime, what would you think? I think very few of the factors you've listed came into his decision. His ability to talk to players and convince them to come was one of his main strengths and that rug was pulled from under him only a few weeks into the job when Wise came in - a decision i'm not entirely sure he knew about or was happy about. Add to the fact he wasn't even able to pick the players the club brought in or sold (something Mike Ashley lied about to us, the fans, in the club magazine a week before Keegan walked out) and the players that were bought were way below par and you've got a situation any manager would have real difficulty working in. On a more personal level I get the feeling from the stories leaked from both sides that NUFC was a boys club for Ashley and his mates. Keegan wasn't one of his mates, he was marginalised and he felt they were making a fool of him. I've heard people who worked alongside Keegan at the club at the time say the same thing. Like you say though, massive assumptions. I have faith the tribunal will find in favour of whoever was in the right. If that was Ashley i'll admit KK was being a petty cock, if that was Keegan I hope you'll stand up and admit he was justified. I doubt it though. You have faith in the legal system? Even if its in Ashley's favour it means pretty much nothing to who was right, the only person(s) who loses out is the club and true associates ie the fans. This whole thing reminds of an old tale i got told in school about two women arguing over a baby, both said it was their's, the judge (or elephant prince) said he couldn't decide so it was only fair to split the baby in half killing it but each woman had a share. The real mother stepped forward and said that she'd rather give up the baby so it kept on living, even though she lost out... Yes i'm a tad tipsy but it seems to fit with KK's legal action against the club in its current state.

See above. Its your argument not mine. Back it up. Convince me. If he didn't have a case he wouldn't bother or he wouldn't win. Your problem with this seems to be, it takes money away from the club ...yet you have SBR in your avatar. Ok, for one moment we focus on payout and nothing else: Were talking £3m for a man who took us from relegation battles or at best bottom-mid table, to Champions league football - Deserved. To boot the money was given when we were at least the 5th best club in the country and in Europe regularly, we could afford it and he worked for it, for several years. KK situation is he was there for a few month, won a couple of games, didn't move the club forward, and now wants £10m, over 3 times as much, for a fraction of the work while we are in the worst position the club has been in for 15 years (or pushing) and people want to tag him as a fan of the club.

FYP Oh by all means enlighten us then, or ignore the issue.. as your doing atm. Fixed it within 10 seconds; if you weren't so eager to engage with me i'd have stood a chance. I'm not the one who thinks they can say the words 'constructive dismissal' and use it as an argument. If anything, those who in knowledge should share to us plebs what that would mean, what constitutes and how that could be perceived in court. I'm listening/watching. That goes for CP40 who's wipes his arse on used industrial law books.

Loads of people banding about the term 'constructive dismissal' without a fuking clue what it actually means. Laughable. Anything to protect their Messiah though.

He wants his contract paid off, like SBR did when he was fired. If he doesn't have a case, he wont get any money. Not rocket science. If your employer is a cunt and forces you out, you seek compensation. SBR actually got sacked.

I'm dead against Keegan getting any more money out of the club but this latest spin is exactly that...spin; if Administration is something of reality from KK legal battle its the current regime being a bigger bunch of cunts trying to make it worse for KK. As it is, i'm in disgust of KK suing the club in its current position, it doesn't take any more spin to make me think any worse of the bottling freeloading money grabbing prick.

if county agree then he's a free agent so can sign up for who and whenever. Are you sure? It may have changed over the last few years but, using the Keane scenario as an example, he got released by Man Utd but because he'd played for them in that transfer window, he was ineligible to play for another club, i.e. Celtic, until January 1st. Might just be me being thick. Keane was injured, broke his leg against Liverpool IIRC. It would be if he played for pompy & Notts C he wouldn't be able to play for another club till next summer. As it stands he's only played for one club. Personally, not sure i'd want him here after this, looks to me like he's lost the plot.

Eh that is the Geordie messiah() you are talking about....... Aye disgraceful Kevin Keegan didn't show respect but nothing more than you would aspect from the man, he is just a bitter little old man he would of probably left the memorial early anyway...... to get back to his football circus where the man belongs keep on walking Kevin and hang your head in shame. That sig is far too big.

Would you have said that if he hadn't of came back for his second spell as manager? Would you s****. Anything to have a go. Maybe he had other important commitments, maybe he wasn't invited. All former England Mnagers invited plus he is a lesser of people and when he die he won't get a quarter of what Bobby got today... There are some arguments best left in your head.
-
KK & SBR weren't the best of friends. KK was dropped as captain and player when SBR tookover England. And some NUFC fans spat at Sir Bobby at a\ NUFC game when he came to watch KK in 1982 becuase he dropped him... Probably a young NG & CP40.

Think i've just popped the stitches in my mouth.

Average Premiership players but in this league that's very good. Think Harewood's pace & strength will do us good mind, though i've not seen too much of Khizanishvilli so no idea how he's going to improve but it does boost the squad numbers, least now if one of Taylor or Colo gets injured were not entirely fooked.

Sports Firms Say 'Auf Wiedersehen' To Feud German sportswear giants Adidas and Puma are to end a feud started 60 years ago by their founding brothers - with a game of football. Adi and Rudolf Dassler started making sports shoes together in their mother's wash-room in the 1920s but fell out during World War II. They were never reconciled and the split was so bitter it even divided the Bavarian town of Herzogenaurach, near Nuremberg, where the brothers founded firms on either side of the Aurach river in 1948. Adi founded Adidas while Rudolph founded Puma and residents were loyal to either one or the other of the only major local employers. But on September 21 employees of both companies will set aside their differences and play a football match to support the annual non-violence Peace One Day organisation. Hubert Hainer, chairman of Adidas said: "I am looking very much forward to our Adidas and Puma football match and I hope that our joint initiative helps to raise further awareness for Peace One Day around the world." Before the war the Dassler brothers ran a successful sports shoe manufacturers, making shoes worn by top athletes of the day including Jesse Owens at the 1936 Berlin Olympics. No-one is sure of the origins of the feud but many believe it stemmed from a wartime air raid on Herzogenaurach as the brothers and their wives shared a shelter. Adi made insulting remarks about the bombers but which Rudolph took at being aimed at him and his wife. Their relationship never recovered and they eventually split, forming their own companies. For the rest of their lives the brothers were bitter business rivals, each trying to outdo the other. Both claim to have invented the screw-in stud football boot for the 1954 World Cup, and signed up big name stars such as Pele and Muhammed Ali to promote their brands. Rudolph died in 1974 and Adi four years later. Such was the loyalty of the residents of Herzogenaurach to the businesses that they refused to mix with anyone who worked for the rival firm. Neither group is now controlled by the descendants of its founding families, although Rudolf's grandson Frank Dassler raised some eyebrows in the town by working for both Puma and Adidas. Since 2007, Puma has been majority-owned by PPR, the French luxury goods maker that also owns Gucci. Adidas Group is much more widely-owned, with no individual shareholder having more than 5%.

We've not performed well for a while but picked up results, we got what we deserved in the defeat, hopefully it brings a few back down to earth.
