1st England game i've seen in a while, worked most of them so haven't really noticed much. Maybe he's just not been confident and other players pick up on that, now he feels he's doing the bizz he wants the ball and wants to attack. He's been looking sharp this season, especially in the last couple of weeks. It's probably more to do with him imo.

I think the reason he's become unpopular is that he's continued to play for England throughout a long period when he should/could have been dropped for being rubbish. The whole team was playing bad, he just carried the blame as people preffered Gerrard and the Gerrard/Lampard can't play together thing was the focus of why we weren't playing well, where in reality it was down to McGinge.

Didn't say I could, mate. I just don't see the point. Fed up of 'em all and couldn't care whether they all hate us or not, tbh. I think it's nice to have someone writing about us in a nicer light, without the bile and hate and with some intelligence. It tells us nothing different apart from there's at least one person out there worth reading/listening too, and when any facts comes his way they'll be displayed fairly and evenly and without biased.

Just reading about Cheryl Cole wishing she had the money to buy us. Honestly, A: It wouldn't surprise me if she did, B: I think it would be great, we'd easily have the sexiest chairperson football has ever seen. Fat Freddie -> Fat Ashley -> Cheryl Cole. Linda Block has nothing on ours.

The lad is spot on - let's hope we get a response from Hughton by not putting Butt in the starting 11 when fit! I'm amazed more hasn't been put on that statement. In response to his U21 manager giving us grief for not giving him enough games. Are you referring to the keep them happy bit? Aye. His U21 manager came out and said he needs more games and is unhappy with his selection at Newcastle. Now Krul comes out with this. He's just had his ear bent a bit, and considering Krul's comments are to a Dutch mag or something i guess what his manager has said was put to him and this is his answer. Having a sly dig, but at least he's not throwing in transfer requests...yet. Aye true, I'm just more surprised a journalist here hasn't ran with the quote and twisted it. Unfortunately there is time. With the Internationals on ATM they've got something else to write about, this can wait for a dry week.

Is it long term? No idea, probably not. More surprised he went for Cameroon over France. I know its a big ask, but considering how quickly his rep has grown over the last year i'd have though he'd have given it a year to see if he got selected for France. Is it not ANC at the start of 2010? If so.

It was not me who was instigating the conversation it was some mates who dont support newcsatle and asked me. And I still agree on saying on paper we have a better midfiled than most PL teams. My opinion. Its not right or qrong it just what i personally think Maybe they were taking the piss and you fell for it? It's the only explanation i can think of. Our mid or lack of it got us relegated last season no doubt about it. Having no protection for the back and no creativity to supply the forwards or any threat down the wings was our soft point. How anyone can rate it as a working effective combination of talent and creativity is beyond me. Nothing works, its completely broken and there's not even a glimmer of hope for it. Total restructure next season if we go up, if not were coming back down.
