  1. Link? So I can change it. 30,000 perfect post record in jeopardy, don't tell him!
  2. I don't believe in when a bet gets suspended it means its nailed on, however this time i'm open to the suggestion.

    Jose Mourinho

    He's just forgot man.
  4. Sell them, was speaking to manu fans before who MISS Smith! We can get rid of them without too much financial deficit, new manager, new ideas, can move players around without suspecting clubs finding out that they are just actually shite.
  5. Hope? Fuking understatement.
  6. He even knew it would end in misery when we signed Owen the cunt.
  7. What shite, deserves to be sacked again.
  8. Potential I suppose. Don't think even that would get him off his arse for an interview tbh. Cushy number, loved by all, good funds, good form, new stadium on its way, backed 100% throughout the club and lastly and very much the be all, he's at home. He sees himself as an old guy settled in his area with his family and likes it there. He's said this a few times, i doubt he'd go any further North than London, and that would only be for the England job.

    British or Foreign

Can't think of a genuine reason why anyone who supports the club would want a British manager.
  10. Hopes raised slightly at the forgotten man. I wouldn't be against it. Gamble, but yes, good manager.
  11. Apparently it's going to be converted into a museum showing how football was played in the stone-age. Even though you are quite cleary a smug twat, i found that rather funny.
  12. That would be horrific. Probably about right and why its mutual. I've no problem with that either. Back him or sack him, been saying it for a few weeks now, he needed help, and with previous spending and a broken connection with the fans it was always going to be hard to back him. I read that completely wrong, as though they weren't willing to spend at all. Thats the way i'm reading it as well, only i don't see a problem with it. The man has failed, he's brought in 9 players who as a collective have played under par and failed. His tactics have failed, and he's failed to win over the crowd, its all bad for business. If they chuck money at the situation then they are just as bad as FS, doing the same shit, instead they've brought in some future potential, and told SA he's not get anything because of his position, he needs to prove himself first. How is that a bad thing? If he didn't like it and threatened to walk then he's been found out, they've said fine, lets negotiate a settlement. Sam only has himself to blame, he's been poor this season, made some disgraceful decisions while the majority of the fan are left totally frustrated because they know if he'd of just done the basics right we'd be on target and looking forward to the future. They weren't ready to back failure, again, i've got no problem with that. Sam Allardyce failed, failed to do the simplest of tasks right, and how on earth does he expect to get the bigger picture sorted out when he cant even see past his nose? Something was wrong, its gone, if the board forced his hand fair enough i say. I've got no problem with this. In fact if this IS the reason, and we will soon find out if it is, then it will put to rest the reservations I've had about them. I only hope they get a replacement who turns out to be a success. Its got to be, if not we've been lied too, Ashley like Sam will be another false dawn if this departure is for a sidestep British manager.

Thing is we finally find out the new boards ambition, we find out where they want to take us with this next appointment. The only British thing is scarily familiar, and too narrow minded to be true. Wires crossed, unreliable source, god knows, i'm living in hope thats the case, if not that were really going nowhere, and we might as well of kept a hold of Sam.

    So, who now?

Don't know. Why not last week? why not end of season if things haven't worked out? the timing suggests to me they plan to get another man in asap so he can spend to put things right. I'm guess Sam has gone for one of these reasons... 1. He's lost the plot infront of Mort and Ashley over buying players cause of the African Cup, despite him knowing that this would be coming last Summer. 2. He's lost the players in a massive row, perhaps transfer requets have been slapped in behind the scences. 3. Perhaps Oliver was right, a big name has offered to take over and it was too irresistable chance to miss. 4. They firimly believe Sam is not he man given recent form. I can't really think of much else, but I'm hoping its number 3. Its crazy how were now all hoping for Anal to come good for us for a change, madness.
  17. Sums up my feelings perfectly. Fuck. There's nothing British and decent out there, this is a massive mistake.

    So, who now?

Shearer not approached and they do not want a foreign manager. Redknapp?
  19. He's 4 years older though, our problem is there is massive gaps in the youth and reserve, i think Kadar & Tozer will be a long way away from the 1st team, i'd expect loans and intensive training to come before any of that develops.
  20. Spurs never bid for Woodgate, just asked if he might be available, just like the enquiry about Taylor. Boro have got competition for Fred, the Lyon President is at WHL now. http://www.lequipe.fr/Football/breves2008/20080109_130842Dev.html That says he's in London at the weekend.
