With both men offering their services to other clubs recently, and one of them securing a new challenge i'd thought i'd put the following question to a poll: If someone asked you to choose one over the other to manage their club, which one would you choose?

If the fees mentioned were realistic I'd be saying exactly what I said in my original post..."More likelihood of me flying to the moon than Spurs signing Alves imo." Did the really ask to make the goals bigger so more goals can be scored? I remember something like that, if so, typical Americans bulldozing their way through everything that anyone ahs every created to suit their own fast food life styles. Brazil & S. Africa are in too much of a state to be given the competition. SA won the sympathy vote, Brazil won by default, it really does say it all. Germany are the only hosts recently who've deserved it, and what a fantastic tournament it was.

btw i think Shearer would of made a great centerhalf i know he wouldn't have I dunno, that tackle on Sol Campbell was a beauty. i watched him too many times lunging and doing forwards tackles and he couldn't mark someone,far too physical in the way that forwards get away with more than defenders He was our best defender in our own box at corners. Always off Shearer's head and away. PS: The Sol tackle was a red card imo.

if you want to get in a better player for a worse player you'll normally have to pay the difference. You COULD see why that would confuse him, being a toon fan 'n' all that.

Surely that would be ridiculously harsh? How would non-football men like Ashley and Mort judge the performances separate of results? The fans.
