Makes more sense than someone having their plastic pig banned from sitting on top of their computer at work as some fuker has a problem with eating bacon.

fair enough tbh. People would be pissed off it they had 'Lambert & Butler' sprawled across them.
-
Just that Barton was a player who he was looking at (Craig David just confirming the deal really). I might of missed some more of it but that's all i heard.

Pure denial, utter arseholes.

I wouldn't pay a fee for him, no way, but for free its a bargain we should take up asap. Surely you can see he's an upgrade to Sibierski? different manager different chairman bringing up sibierski is a complete irrelevance, apart from if you want to compare effort and commitment in terms of relative pay packets No its not. One striker going out, one striker coming in, one striker who cannot score, one striker who can. Its not difficult to see why Sibi is brought up now is it? PS: Same Chairman if you are going to be in a pedantic mood. 'we have a striker leaving' is not an argument for signing Viduka, it's an argument for signing a striker Are we supposed to sign Henry to play as squad rotation with Owen & Martins who are still no1 & 2 as it stands? If he's our 3rd choice striker next season, then were doing better than most.

I guess your's works then?

Suggest getting a new box then mate.

Tomas Ujfalusi has apparently been made available from Fiorentina, so hopefully SA is having a look at him as well or that's who he has been looking at. Am not sure about Rozehnal, France currently have a dogshit league. awful awful awful defender

Tomas Ujfalusi has apparently been made available from Fiorentina, so hopefully SA is having a look at him as well or that's who he has been looking at. He's been linked with Juventus recently. (If I remember correctly) Solid defender, i remember him from Euro 2004, was a rock. (I think that's when Fiorentina signed him) Good move for him, he'll do well.
-
From what was reported he didn't choose Chelsea over us, the offer was withdrawn by us when we sacked GR, and the offer was not pushed or confirmed to still be on the table when SA came in or the time in between. Of course it was withdrawn. What would have been the piont of signing him to a pre-contract and then the new manager saying he didn't want him. Would have been a terrible mess. Can i politely ask what was the point in this post? No one is arguing that it was the right/wrong thing to do!

It was the end of the season, what was his rush? Well Chelsea came in and nothing else took his fancy, i think if GR had still been here he'd be playing for us next season, he seemed quite desperate to sign away from Reading, probably because before this season he was a know one and now he's been offered money that will sort him out for the rest of his life!
-
But not at his desk? Is that right? I heard he returns to the club tomorrow.

They've been saying that for the last 8 days or so though, but tomorrow never comes. Maybe i'm just being impatient but i think it would be a good idea to nail these two down asap.
-
Anyone else think the Viduka & Ben Haim deals are passing us by due to SA being on holiday and the constant speculation of the future of the club? It would be a shame to miss out on two steals, we've already missed out on Sidwell for changing our manager (fair enough if you put it like that), are we about to lose out on these two for similar instability? Would be nice to see NUFC make some good moves in the transfer market especially so early on in the window, but time is ticking and offers will be coming in all the time, we should of had these deals sorted by now imo.

So, not quite the impact you 1st thought, although you could say it just took him a while to settle, and it would probably be the same again moving to England. He could of course have had a World Cup hangover after he failed miserably after being hyped so much (although his Country held him back and didn't play him in full) and he was expecting a much bigger club such as Arsenal to be coming in for him, it might of give him a knock. He's an option, but i wouldn't pay anymore than what his current club have paid for him. I'm a fan of the big targetman upfront, it brings wingers into life, but maybe this one isn't the right one for us as.

Poor at World Cup - YES Poor at Spanish League - cobblers! Came in at Xmas and scored 12, assists 8, fouls leading to penalties 5 (he didn't take penalties). Racing were a team in the bottom 3 when he joined them! Now in 10th ...and were still in running for Europe up until 2 weeks ago! His stats are the highest of any striker in La Liga for 2nd half of season...so that is poor,eh? Get your FACTS straight ! As for Berbatov - likelihood is small; but he is only on £22k a week (ONLY!) at Spurs... You said he came in at xmas in another thread, im' sure he joined straight after the world cup 06. Are you sure about this as i've chekced and every where is reporting he had joined in August 06 and has played 32 games in the league, which is impossible if he joined at xmas time. For example: His stats: http://home.skysports.com/player.aspx?plid=24532&clid=189&cpid=23 The day he signed: http://home.skysports.com/list.aspx?hlid=413074&plid=24532&clid=189&cpid=23 Wiki confirms both (although that mean nowt) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nikola_%C5%BDigi%C4%87 Played 27 games for Racing including cup games. Played with RedStar up until his transfer.Pretty sure of stats "He's a lanky b******, but isn't particularly good in the air and has very little presence. It's almost like a disadvantage for him." Far better in air than Peter Crouch I would suggest? But I would have no problems with Crouch being the signing...all the rumours are that Liverpool are keeping Crouch though, and dumping Bell-end. Nowhere seems to agree with you. 32 games in the league, i've even found a place with how many minutes he's played in La Liga, something like 2800, which is about 32 full games.

They wont be buying them for a while after next season anyway. Buy? They steal them from washing lines. Wash?

If Rangers had the balls + cash they could of had Gattuso & Arteta bossing there midfield. Naaa. Gattuso was always going to move on, he was just too good to remain in Scotland for his career. Just think of the quality difference between him and Scottish and Rangers legend, best player Scotland have, captain fan-dabby-dozy etc... Barry Ferguson. PS: They could of possibly kept hold of Arteta since the lad plays for Everton and has no ambition to further his NT career.
