Hargreaves? Yes good signing for them but i was thinking more along the lines of a top quality striker that they desperatly need. Is Anderson going to be this player? I think like someone said before Anderson will be Scholes replacement, granted he sits further forward but with Carrick or Hargreaves next to or behind him they can afford to do that. I still believe there spending isn't over and i expect a £10-18m striker coming in as well. (Owen or Huntelaar) Fergie has decided to build a world class team that will outlast Liverpool's new spending power, and a one to take advantage of Chelsea's slight slip up this season.

There goes Ashley's 3 year plan.
-
Nani and Anderson are not going to contribute very much next year they need at least a year or two. I Of course they'll get better in the future, but i think both will have a great impact next season simply due to the talent surrounding them.
-
I think a striker could still be coming in, if they get Owen they'd simply be the best team in the league by a mile.

Manu going all out on the attacking front, much better team than Chelsea now, more flair players will leave Chelsea for dust and Roman wishing for a different team.

I vote for: Carr2Babayaro33Dyer8Luque7

No ta, worse idea i've heard so far. In the future, but the lad needs experience to improve his own game nevermind influence other peoples and look after a whole team. He'd pick up more booking than Vinny Jones if we made him captain right now.

3rd is the best. mackems.gif

Given would make a shit captain, cant even marshal his defense properly nevermind a whole team. That's a myth. And tbh, it's not like he has the best defense in front of him eh? It's not even his job ffs. The only time we've had a decent central defender in our team (Woodgate btw, in case you were wondering), our defence looked and was good (enough). If we had decent defenders, they wouldn't need to be 'marshalled'. Do you see Petr Cech marshalling John Terry? How about Buffon marshalling Cannavaro (when Fab was at Juve)? How about Reina marshalling Carragher? No. Was Shearer the type to shout at his teammates and lift them onto a higher place? No. Did he need to be? Again, no. There is a case against Shay being given the captaincy, that I'll admit. But you can't make a decent case for anyone else at the club for the captaincy, which is why Shay deserves it. No i cant.

Another good shout, but since he's not been linked and is a mile better than the rest it wouldn't make an interesting poll would it? Now vote!

Fast as fuck apparently. Just shit at taking corners. Old. Edit: RIP Senna.

Was hoping they'd go for Dyer as well. Would swap NRC or Ferdinand for Dyer.

Senna is too old.

Newcastle boss Sam Allardyce is believed to be willing to let Parker move on as he looks to raise money for his own transfer plans. West Ham chief Alan Curbishley is keen to sign Parker as he is a big fan of the England international from their time together at Charlton. Parker, who is currently recovering from a hernia operation, endured a difficult season at Newcastle last term after coming in for some criticism from his own fans. Curbishley is in the market for a new midfielder with Nigel Reo-Coker expected to move on after handing in a transfer request. Newcastle are believed to be lining up a move for Manchester City star Joey Barton as a possible replacement for Parker should he leave St James' Park.

We've got one, bid has come in, and were being linked with the other two. Very like for like, but which of the three is the best? Tough choice, its yours to make.
-
I thought the stories yesterday (was it from his agent?) said WH were willing to listen to £8m for him. PS: One does hope that 64.7% of this bid will find its way to Sunny Manchester. We need shot of Barton please £8m for NRC!?!?! Fuk that, i hope they dont think its going to be a straight swap, they can fuk that one off.

Really? Link? Anyway, I think after he got ill and injured he has not really been the same for us. Granted, great first season but last season he was hardly ever captain material. If he wants out and has done for some time, its hardly suprised there was foook all team spirit last season. If thats the case, let him go. Would not be at all fussed tbh. Really wish people would stop barking fuking 'link' at me.

And theres me hoping more leave! Dyer, Owen & Emre would be a good start, get rid of the huge wasters on huger wages and reset the wage bill. Still no news of Carr & Babayaro leaving, cunts.
