  1. Good call on Southgate, he's shit. He's shit, but his team are shitter! Seriously for me they are about one player from being as weak at Wigan, thats all. Woodgate/Yakubu count as that player but Woody was lucky last season with injury, he's back to old, and Yakubu just went totally off the boil, if he starts the season like that (or sold) they've simply got nothing upfront in terms of a regular goalscorer, long hard season for Boro
  2. Add a poll you lazy bugger! Hutchings is probably my firm fav, but i wouldn't like to be Southgate either.
  3. Not going to cost you £15m like but i think D'Alessandro was be excellent for us. Pacy, tricky, determined, eye for goal and like to run with the ball straight through the centre. Took a couple of months to adapt to the EPL with Portsmouth, but by the end i thought he was simply superb.
  4. A great move for us, for free as well.

  6. Can't believe its turned out this bad for him, but were more important, so i say get rid of him ASAP. Shame nobody in their right mind would buy him.
  7. Sevilla are by far a better and more talented proposition right now than our own club, if he gets the money he wants he could easily decide to stay. There's no way Sevilla are going to triple his current wage. Also he wants to play in the Premiership and at 31 if that's going to happen it has to happen now. How do you know what they are going to pay him? Even if they doubled it he'd probably go for that imo. Unless he really really wants out, which he's never hinted at.

  10. I'll eat my hat if we sign Lucho Gonzalez tbh. I think it's another in the long line of dodgy bids- Shearer, Collymore, Sutton, Smith & Owen where we know another club is after them and offer less then say to the fans "Well we tried to sign some top players..." Then the money mysteriously disappears e.g. £7m bid for Alan Smith then buy Marcus Bent for 500k I've said it about ourselves this season and it goes with Everton even more so, you need to spend just to keep up. A lot of ground work has been put in at your club, its been gradually creeping forward over the last few seasons, but doing nothing this summer will probably cost you 5 places in the league. One player or possibly two at a time is the best way Everton can go right now. These two would keep you in contention for where you finished last season, maybe higher as you've not had to deal with so many changes, about time Everton took a gamble in the transfer market, i think Moyes deserves it by now, and could possibly walk in the near future if he finds himself not backed to the standard he thinks the club needs and can possibly afford (like our manager with Bolton)

In the other thread someone suggested they come and join over here and have their won section to drum up support, what it just a passing comment or something that could possibly be considered? I think it would be a good idea.
  12. If Everton sign Baines & the guy from Porto they really do have a canny useful team.
  13. From what i've seen Carr looks almost 2 stone lighter. Don't say the little bastard has finally decided he wants to play football.

Hmmm. WHU's options are more limited than ours when it comes to signing players. A: Because Curbs isn't a very good scout and keeps going for known players, B: A lot of players see WHU as a joke right now and only players with serious defects or personality problems want to take their money. They really are turning into NUFC of old, it can only spell one thing. They want Dyer more than we want to sell him imo, i know the fans want rid, but SA would love to keep his pace on the books, in a 4-3-3 he could be deadly if he knuckles down, so SA isn't so bothered to keep him for two years. We all know if he's here by September, he'll step up his game, play some blinding football, then bag himself a new 5 year deal and history repeats itself. I'd rather him be gone, chuck out the chintz, but if he stays its not going to be a major problem for SA who was probably looking forward to getting the best out of Dyer which every other manager has failed to do. Dyer will have a better career here, simply as Curbs won't get the best out of him, he'll have the Dyer we've seen of the last few years. Dyer's best career move would be to stay, i'm sure it wouldn't be so hard for him to do even if he does want to move away.

But we upped the price because of something they have done, it's them who look to have been unprofessional about it. Not according to Allardyce, he said we undervalued him so have raised the price. if we do have info about a tapping up which is very possible considering bellend is there we should just take the 6m then report west ham, one thing is for certain is that this whole situation in my opinion has made dyer's role at the club completely untenable(spelling) making the cancelling of the deal even more perplexing Its a daft/brave move by the club, if we get extra then we did well, we played poker and won, if were left with Dyer on the books come 1st September then we've dropped the ball imo.
  16. Yeah that's quite a decent tune, good shout. SSN's are now using it as their new intro music for this season. PA Guy too slow.

Can't there's a release clause. But you have to consider that Ashley hates WHU with a passion, they are WHU, they are getting a player on the cheap because of 'family reasons' yet there is talk those reasons spawned out of a tap up by them, Dyer hasn't handed in a transfer request so isn't that desperate to leave, and again its WHU the most hated team in the Country full of tosser fans, scummy players, and a dirty cheating board. Curbs is the only likable thing about them, only because he's passive and boring.

NUFC Mad reckon Ipswich have a 20% sell on clause. Fuking hell, was £6m not enough the greedy cunts?
  19. Lets hope this is a done deal by tomorrow, sound like were almost there. Lets hope he's as good as his former fans say he is, really its all were going off, were all giddy from their disappointment, its quite a funny situation.
  20. Looking good. Better than i expected. A great option and perfect partner for Taylor next season, from what i've seen so far, but like Baggio has said, we need to judge him against EPL opposition before we can start really licking his balls.
  21. They want to see what its like to play in front of crowds.
  22. Same thing thought isn't it? Just depends which one is winning the trophies at the time.

What a fuking prick. Like Shak said: "Congratulations Steve Bruce, you've just moved up a notch in my book. This puts you at Notch 1." Even funnier is Tottenham now have an unsellable player on good money rotting in the reserves. Not many times their revolving door policy has bit them in the arse, but this is a funnny situation, am sure in the Spuds fans can laugh at this (well will when he's released and goes back to Holland)
