Aye basically and we might not do it, i think we will at least equal it, but its pathetic really and the board need to take a long hard look of who is in charge of appointing the manager for next season. Not sure but i think both Scotsmen were in charge those seasons.

I've only seen him in few games. Didn't he play in a midfield role recently (and quite well). I just remember that he had some right shockers at right back last season. It was when he came back from injury though. Rides a bike to work, a very sound professional guy, bit of a tree hugger apparently though.

When did this happen? Jesus they've opened themselves up for huge criticism here.

Looks like they are coming up, it wouldn't surprise me at all if they win the fuking thing now, quite an achievement considering their poor start. No doubt they'll be buzzing, and i can see Quinn trying to push the team forward even more and spend the money they get for being back in the big time, in fact, i can even see them staying up this time round. As for us, i can only see us going further backwards under the current lot, and the prospect of the return of our fierce rivals doesn't fill me with the the joy it should do.

Also England V Scotland in Euro 96 and that Gazza goal, followed up with 4-1 win over Holland with Shearer & Teddy both scoring 2. Both were simply amazing England moments, ranked up there with 5-1 & the 1-0 Becks pen over Argentina. More of that, but we won't see it with the balding ginger sad act in charge. :'(

they didn't lose just cos of a lack of luck, Sevilla where a huge class above them tonight. Ref wasn't much use like you are right, but even with that in mind, Sevilla where easy the better team. I agree, Spurs weren't as good. Quite an entertaining game tonight - interesting how Kanoute's become amazing since he left England, thought he looked very classy tonight and took his goal brilliantly. Thought his last touch was flukey for the goal, but it did spur him on after that.
