Who's slating him for saying half the team needs replacing? there were some on here a few days ago alluding to the fact he shouldnt have demoralised the poor dears by coming out and saying how crap we were Because it worked didn't it? His comment really got his team playing. Now half the team are totally coasting to the end of the season, more so than before, making them unusable or a complete liability if they do play, because they will know who he means, no doubt about that, he's just made a bad situation worse, and when it comes to sell these players, we haven't got a hope in hells chance of regaining any money as clubs know were desperate to offload. We win all round with the comments dont you think? so basically, he should keep his mouth shut of course no-one would whine about him doing that I guess He should of kept his mouth shut, its not helped has it? Tell me one good thing to come of it? Were there people whining all season long for him not saying this? I cant remember them.

We must have some secret, invisible points stored up somewhere. Soon, this clueless cunt Roeder will go "ta-dah!!!", and we'll immediately be 5th. What a wanker this man is. He's starting to make Souness sound like a rational and honest man. Agreed.
-
There is, but the utter cunt couldn't be arsed to even live in the region until his injury cleared up, couldn't be arsed to even speak to Martins until the last month, the guy is an utter cock socket.

What makes you think he is good manager? Didn't he bring trophies also for Liverpool when he manage in there? In fact he is quite decent at Lyon also? it might be not as great as Paul Le Guen... but he not much worst than Le Guen... Im not sure how long he was manager at Liverpool but as far as i remember he only won the Uefa cup,Fa cup,Carling cup and the Super cup of Europe.Apart from that his career at Liverpool was nightmare and im sure that all of Liverpool's supporters were happy when he resigned About Lyon...They have played in the last 2 semifinals in the Champions league and this season when Houllier was in charge they were eliminated too early when alot of people though that they will reach the final My personal opinion is that Houllier is average manager.Maybe not as bad as Roeder of course but still not good enough Cobblers. blueyes.gif it's NUFC06 man he's a footballing genius Im not football genius i just know alot more about football then you You think Houllier is average? Ass-hat... Which tit said: My personal opinion is that Houllier is average manager Cant be arsed to count the lines, that person isn't worth it tbh.

Haha aye I feel the same way. Think of the possible positives it can bring You can only laugh at what comes next on the Nufc rollercoaster and I still have faith we'll spend relatively big in the summer. He HAS to get lots of players in, he has no choice, his job is on the line and the natives are getting restless Whats the story behind your sig mate? -
Can't argue with that. All the hallmarks of a great manager. Has Roeder got anything right? I mean, there's always a lot needs fixing after Souness has managed your club. Its hard to say what he has got right, because of the things he has got wrong. He hasn't done as bad as Souness, but its not good enough. At the start of the season we had a lot of players getting injured and getting some bad luck, he held it together, rode out the storm, said the right things and got us away from the bottom, but it was more luck than anything else. When that luck ran dry a couple of months ago, he's kept on with the same shite (the 'am not using injuries as an excuse' line basically made his own fans start to take the piss out of him), making stupid tactical decisions, poor squad selections and not turning matches round by using subs, and in the last few weeks he's attacked the players & the fans, and now everyone is against him. Basically GR couldn't handle the pressure of a big club like this, just as he thought he was out of the woods, he got dragged back in, and is now lost, its only time until Yogy bear (Aka the fat one who eats lots of food) bites his head off and makes another shite appointment.

Its not good for the lad, its his 1st season in a new league and in a team struggling to fuk on and off the pitch. That's got to be difficult for anyone, nevermind a young foreign lad trying to find his feet. He is listening as well, he's responded to the cunts criticism at the start of the season when he started scoring, i mean the ugly cunt was on his back the moment he kicked a ball, almost dooming him and wanting him sold as soon as he arrived, why? God knows, but its not doing anything but harm to the player and the club. Anal should have a pop at the inept manager not getting the best out of him, and the shite coaches for not being able to teach him anything about the game as that's the real problem, but the useless cunt of a journo decides to pick on a young lad who's just arrived, not the people who've been fuking up for years before he even arrived in this Country. Tosser.

I think it would. We've grown up a lot since the KK days, we understand its not all about flashy brilliance and scoring as many goals as possible. Some if not most would be happy with well thought out team performances, and coming away with the odd goal and a clean sheet, meaning winning games, i know i would. The added flair and entertaining football would be the icing, but right now some plain cake would be nice. I can certainly understand that. On the other hand, would the fans (and the board) be willing to give a decent manager the time he'd need to rebuild the squad (2-3 summers)? Assuming you've just played boring football for a full season (but didn't let many in), what would the manager have to have achieved for his first season to have been a success? To show an ability to spot a talent, not just sign big names, to show an understanding of tactics and the sue of a good sub, and to show an ability to improve players through good training and motivational skills. If a manager could come in and show us that, regardless of the results, i think we'd give them time. If GR was doing that now, but still picking up the results were getting most would be willing to give him next season. But at the moment there is no clue, no understanding of the game, and no leadership throughout the club, and that is what is turning out these shite performances. When SBR came in, those things i listed above were all showing in the 1st season, along with some good results. The season after he started to build the team, and we were off, back in the good times again, it was plain to see the guy was moving us onward and upward from the off, since then, shit, its not even worth thinking about.

Didn't see this one, mine deleted. Really doesn't like the lad does he?

Newcastle submit £300m plans to develop SJP - Official

Good point. The key question is - will this project produce a profitable return on such a massive investment? Or - what is the real demand for another hotel, more luxury apartments and a conference centre in the city? It didn't work with Chelsea, and I really don't trust Freddie's judgement. He's a bit of a dreamer and an optimist who thinks things are going to go the way he wants them to. Was the money borrowed against the club though? If this was done in the Bates era, not doubt it was as he couldn't afford mass amounts of coin. -

Basically we've secured independent funding from someone. Not worth complaining about in that case, as the project is totally independent of how the club is run, and not a penny of the £300m could have been spent elsewhere. I'd guess that we are allowing investors to develop and run businesses on our land, and in return, these investors are paying for a 8000 seat stadium expansion. That's what am guessing, free expansion, which if true is then excellent news. -

great points mate but what worrys me and everyone else is the football side of things . we will have great ground .great support as always but a s*** manager if roeder stays on .so scary if we dont turn it round on the pitch . yeah but like said earlier this has obiously been in the pipeline for months, so if this had of been announced when we finished 7th last year, the reaction would have been a lot better. Fact of the matter, reality, it has nothing to do with the football side of things. Notjing to do with money on players, or who the manager is, or how bad the team is doing. This would have happened no matter what state we were/are in. so like said, if this is independantly funded, then great, get on with it. Good point. -

I was looking at the fact it will make borrowing against the club easier in the future (so he could do a Galzier), but also it might make buying the club more out of reach for FS if it puts the price too high, so it might be a really good thing. -

The hotels, apartments & all the transport network development around the ground will cost a fair bit to build. Big buildings like hotels do not come cheap. PS: How much is your stadium going to cost for an extra few thousand seats? -

It is poor timing, but its something we need to do. The only thing making us a 'big' club right now is our fanbase, so the expansion makes sure we keep that going and keep it rising. We've had the 2nd biggest ground in the league for ages, now its the 3rd, and in two seasons it will be the 4th, i for one hope we get it back to 2nd, and fill it. If its finished by the 2008/09 season (one after next) and were on the up again, it wont seem a bad idea. Maybe he has some plans in the summer, maybe that extra £20m is going straight on 3 new defenders, would be a good start. -

We don't have £300m to spend. We'll be lending on the strength of the plans for this development. It's not like that cash could otherwise be spent on players. Am hoping the plan is free or next to free ground expansion out of this. If it is, fuking excellent way of doing it, finally NUFC board making some right decisions. -

He's been playing Geordie monopoly again and beat Dougie with his hotels on St James, so thought he'd have a shot in real life. God help us if he ever gets a copy of FM, or maybe he already has -

The hotels, conference centre & apartments will make back the money loaned to build the lot. I'm guessing the point is get these built to pay for our ground expansion, this will have nothing to do with money on the pitch, just making us a stronger tangible asset (which means borrowing in the future will be easier, either for money for players, or more likely so Freddy can borrow to take full control of the club) -

If they are going to do it, they should do it properly and finish off the whole thing & stick a roof on it! God help the pitch though. -
I think i would. Just look how much worse England are without him, but we'd have to bring in the Grip as well since he's the one who does all the coaching.

Anyone for old bug eyes? Been good at Lyon, wasn't really too bad at Liverpool, we'd kill for a 5th of the success he had at Anfield, although he went defensive and stale there, i'd have him here in a shot. Works well at all levels, some suspect buying especially at Liverpool, but the rest of it he did really well at. Someone who is a class above our current and last manager, only question is, does he still want to come back to the EPL? If so, we should inquire about his services now, his contract could be up this summer as well IIRC.

What? What u mean what? What the fuk are you on about? Thats what i mean by 'what?' Respect the players, the manager & the people who run the club, all who are failing at their jobs spectacularly, are you having a laugh? Is this some funky foreign joke us Geordie's don't get? Am i supposed to laugh? Is the point lost in translation? Have you been watching this season? So many questions, all which am intrigued to fuk to hear your answers. Actually am not. Bit harsh on him with this reply, mate. Not really, that was the problem, its why i asked. I have apologised for snapping anyway.
