so next season when Roeder is still here I can quote this little fairy story? Yes you can my angry little friend. PS: Go get laid.
-
We need a new RB. Anyone who thinks we can survive with Solano there for a full season next year is stupid beyond belief.

I'm just excited that we are looking, and FS is not accepting this shite season from GR. We probably have sounded out SGE on the hush and been found out, its hard not to let things slip these days, especially when reporters and papers will pay silly money to get a scoop. The reaction from FS is classic duck and cover, Sven and his advisor's will be told denial will be enforced until the time is right, so not to worry about what is written in response if leaked. SGE may not be the answer, but he might not be the only person we have spoken too. FS knows his biggest mistake in sacking SBR was not having a replacement lined up ready to take over, he simply did not want to do it again with Souness, but felt he had no choice. This summer is the time to sack GR and he knows it, he is now looking, Sven included, but i doubt he's the only one were taken a peak at, everyone should forget about the Sven story, the real story is we are looking for a new manager, and that my black and white friends is something we should start looking forward too.

Could think of better, especially in the air. Suppose it will all be ground work, so no wingers with a 3 man mid, putting immense pressure on our fullbakcs which are currently Babayaro & Carr. Sounds class.

As if anyone would pay money to sign him.
-
SBR looked really old, tired, pale & thin at the Arsenal match, poor man has had some seriously bad health of late, i hope to god its not taking its toll on him

Yes You 100% sure? Yes it was mentioned in the Newcastle United Plc Interim Results for the six months ended 31 December 2006 released on 30th March this year. Got a link? Not that i dont believe you, i just want to actually see it with my own eyes and put this one to bed, cheers.
-
Yes You 100% sure? He was meant to sign a 3 yr extension at the end of last season...I think he did sign. There was lots of talk of it offered, that its was going to be signed, then nothing, and IIRC its been asked here before and no definitive answer was ever concluded. Since Com (the new cock) has him as retained until 09, it suggests the new 3 year extension wasn't signed doesn't it? As an 09 finish would of meant he was already out in 06 when he was supposed to signt he 3 year, which we all know he wasn't Confused.com

18 years of a father then none, i know people at older ages not getting over their parents deaths for much longer than that. Its not like he lost his cat you know. Old article, but worthy of a recap: Charles N'Zogbia makes his first appearance of the year at St James' Park in tomorrow's derby game with Middlesbrough - with Glenn Roeder insisting he is the future of Newcastle United. The 21-year-old Frenchman came on as a sub at Wigan on Sunday after recovering from what he describes as "the worst injury of my career " against Chelsea in December. And no sooner was N'Zogbia back in a black-and-white shirt then talk re-surfaced of just how much Arsene Wenger would love him to add him to the French contingent at Arsenal. But Roeder insisted today: "I will treat any talk of Charles going to Arsenal - or anywhere else for that matter - with utter contempt. Story continues Continue story ADVERTISEMENT "He is the future of Newcastle United and, take it from me, he is going to be here for a very long time. "We are trying to build a good squad of young players here and I intend to keep my best players. Charles N'Zogbia is one of them. "And we have seen nowhere near the best of him yet." N'Zogbia goes into tomorrow's match without a goal this season - and knowing that his last goal was in the derby match at Sunderland last April. Indeed, Roeder has had a poor return from his left flank this season, with only Damien Duff's goal in the win at West Ham coming from here. N'Zogbia is the current North East Young Player of the Year, but there is no doubt he has been badly affected by the death of his father in France and the departure of his mentor Jean Alain Boumsong to Juventus. But Roeder believes that N'Zogbia has found more inner strength and maturity as he has recovered from his knee injury. The United boss added: "This has been a disappointing season for Charles because of his injury and that fact that he has been in competition with Damien Duff on the left wing. "That's why it is important that he finishes the season strongly. "That was a nasty injury he got at Chelsea, but he has worked hard to get fit again and the 30-minute blow-out he had at Wigan puts him in contention for tomorrow. "Don't forget he is still only 20 and that a lot has happened to him in a short space of time. "He's one of those players who says very little at the training ground but he is starting to come out of his shell."

True. I couldn't at 25 be able to deal with that happen to me.

Portsmouth are mugs for not going for it, but i can understand Reading for the reasons i gave above.

Everton (7th & above) Blackburn, (below us) Bolton, (7th & above) Fulham, (below us) Middlesbrough, (below us) Tottenham (7th & above) and Newcastle So at the moment, ate, 10th is good enough. All depends on the FA cup finalists and keeping ahead of Boro, BB & Fulham
-
What if the spuds win the UEFA cup as well, that should take it to 9th. Shitty thought i know, but... I don't think that will make any difference, still 8th. Well i certainly hope the lose now.
-
TRhat could help us, can see his point, 2nd season syndrome along with another tough competition to compete in.

What's a social murderer? Does he spoil party's, weddings and barmitzvahs? With great ease.

Depends if those above us have applied for it as well.

I really like him, think he's sound. Absolutely love the way he's so happy to be in the Premiership. Listen to any interview with him, and I guarantee at some point he'll say "thats what the Prem is all about". The best one a while back was when he was talking about how the seats in the dugouts are much comfier in the Prem than in Div 1, absolutely quality. He's mint, total breath of fresh air, the only reason i want them to stay up is to get more comments from him. Its a damn shame he's actually taken a lot on the chin this season, totally mellowed compared to his rants in the Championship, so if he does go down, which looks likely, lots of teams will step it up against them, and a few blown fuses will be on their way out of Warnocks brain.

Don't think so, think it all just comes under the Bosman ruling. 6 months or less to go and they can speak to anyone. 6 weeks until contract expires for players in the same Country.

As our last 5 games show, he hasn't got out striking department sorted. Take Drogba and Shevchenko away from Chelsea and I don't think they would be scoring that many either. We have spent nearly the whole season without Owen and Amoebi and I'm just amazed it's taken us this long to hit a dry patch. With Owen and Shola back we will have a very solid set of strikers for next season. I heald this opinion 'til recently, but the charlton and city performances were such disgraces. There was no desire and they were idealess. Surely this is down to a tactically inept manager. Exactly. Fair enough if we were getting in front of goal and were not able to convert then this opinion would certainly be correct, but we haven't been doing that and neither of those strikers (Owen & Ameobi) create their own goals, they need it made for them, Owen less so if its played nicely infront of him, but Ameobi needs chances bang infront of goal to convert, sure we'd have more goals if they were fit, but not as many as we should with the star studded mid we've got.
-
Where has that been though? Its not inconsistency, its simply motivation, GR got them fired up today, well someone did, i'll give him the credit as i give him the bashing when they dont come out to play, but it a little bit too late. This is again from highlights, but even though we looked suspect at the back especially down the flanks, we fought like a team, that team should of came out against AZ, and again in the two EPL games following as they were season builders, this was a season rescuer, and therefore too little too late.
-
Fuking right, Martins looked like a footballer again in those highlights, fantastic determination to keep the ball, very unlucky to not score again, Sibbi at 32 should of known to place the rebound though.

Sad that Robson tried to bring him here as his assistant, but plumped for Mick Wadsworth in the end. I read somewhere Robson said Jose could be his right hand man for two years, then he'd be given the managers role, Mourinho knowing Robson's love of the game knew that SBR wouldn't just chuck it, so knocked the job back. Newcastle is a big job, you get decent money to spend and the infrastructure is there for us to compete. We could afford him. Chelsea will sack him or move him on for nowt. So we offer him £100k pw (its what Owen's getting so fuk it, i know which one i'd rather have at this club) and massive bonus' for wining trophies. A structured budget, and let him do his magic. The buzz around this place would carry us to 4th place by itself tbh.
