Gordons breakthrough seasons were in a relegation threatened basket case of a club. Leicester were at the top end of the table functioning like a club which could upset the establishment again. It's really hard to compare them both due to their environments, nevermind the different types of players that they are.

Their board are Ashley lite, the fans are RTG on steroids. Combined you just don't know what situation the lad is in, but it's clear it's not a nice one and he wants out. Also if you're worried about his ruction with schar/trippier...don't be. It's all part of the game, they'll be laughing about it as soon as he lands in training and be ribbing each other for months after. Next time something explodes on the field, they'll all have each others back..

Very different players. Gordon is hard working and will fit well in the press. Maddison is highly technical and could be classed as a luxury player. Which do we need more right now? I'd probably say maddison on paper, but howe knows best and I'm wrong.
