RB should buy the club for £200m and sell it to PIF if they ever get approved. If they don't then Ashley sues the PL for the £100m+ he's lost out on. This would clearly define how much he's lost by the rejection and the PL are basically signing their own damages claim allowing RB to go through.

We won't be selling him this window with Dubs & Darlow out. Woodman must be thinking he's got a real good chance of getting a few games under his belt without the threat of being replaced for any mistakes and if he does well keeping that No1 spot. He won't get a better chance to break in to a premiership team than he does right now.

End of the day he's not getting £60kpw, a low release clause and a 3 year deal, not when we're paying the thick end of £25m for him. I don't see any other team doing so either and this may be why other clubs just haven't bothered with him.

Thing is with Armstrong he'll take a while to get used to the league and get up to speed, probably not see much from him this season. Most on here will have written him off by 3 or 4 games but I do think he'll come good and be a premier league player in the coming years, just like what happened with Blackburn and the Championship; he just needs to find his confidence after constantly being told he's not good enough to make it at X level for Y club.

It's a lot of money for 4 months of form. Just have to think back to Kenedy or even Longstaff as to why clubs are reluctant to purchase.
