Yes, that's very simple Same was said when we got Ashley in from Shepherd, that worked out well. Then there was anybody but Pardew (in came Carver) We need a change, we're desperate, but not desperate enough to have another chancer take control.

I'm sure he'd take some joy out of selling us to a shitter owner, however it's all about what he can gain from it, so best offer wins. Unfortunately there hasn't been any serious offers to consider. Or there has been serious offers BUT he isn't really interested in selling? Closest we've come is the mess Staveley made last year, but it looked like she was just a tyre kicker with no real interest apart from looking to pick us up on the cheap. Now, i know we want him out, but he's not going to accept an offer that doesn't suit him. I wouldn't accept an offer for a possession that wouldn't suit myself either. If she was serious then they would have found an agreement, found the £50m or so to make the deal happen. They didn't and it was telling for that they tried to use a dirty trick media campaign to force his hand (which failed spectacularly) rather than come back with a better offer, something we'd expect from the current owner. IMO it would have been out of the pan and in to the fire, only with less potential financial backing. Mind, Staveley may have been hung out to dry by potential backers. Maybe at first she had a few that were worth a fortune and they liked the idea, but for whatever reason they pulled out so she tried to do it on her own. This would be why she couldn't make a second reasonable offer, if so then see the original point; not real offer was made.

If Maguire goes for £80m then we need to be looking at taking £50m from Leicester in return.

If we can look like this next week, it wouldn't be a bad window. We'll have done it on the cheap, but for me we'd be looking a stronger outfit that last season, especially at the start. In: Dubravka Kenedy (loan) Schar Ki Muto Rondon Bryan Out: Merino Sels Colback MBemba Mitrovic Gayle Dubravka is a massive upgrade on Sels and hasn't cost Kenedy for a full season is huge Schar - even at this point is an upgrade on Mbemba simply as Rafa didn't trust him/language etc... Ki - i'd have hoped was a replacement for Colback, but its not the end of the world if he replaces Merino who did nothing after he signed permanently Muto - Gamble but Gayle just doesn't have the goals at this level, questions on whether Muto does, but i think he'll be a better fit for Rafa Rondon - Even as a Mitro fan it'll be nice to move on from the debate and hopefully we see him over Joselu which means for me an upgrade Bryan - Dummet has been great but needs competition and we need something slightly different to him. Not sure if this guy is the answer but seems highly rated enough to try him out. Overall that's a stronger team, especially come the start of the season. Its not glamorous, but neither was the one last year and we enjoyed that season more than any for some time. If we could get some competition for Ayoze then its a sensible window, but not spectacular. A survival window i suppose, but under Ashley its all we've got to look forward to.

Don't Manure have a 50% sell on fee as well?
-
Another thinking outside the box signing, I reckon he will do well, may not just be goals but general style of play.
-
They absolutely love him in here: https://www.readytogo.net/smb/threads/athletico-mince.1358949/page-12 Might change somewhat if that video is posted (for some reason it hasn't already, cant think why)

Probably includes a goodwill fee for tapping up their manager. No more legal threats all of a sudden.
-
can’t believe Rafa can’t manage him or mitrovic in to useful squad players. Even mbabu. Clear as day he was a talent and we practically gave him away. Shocking stuff.

Wolves and Fulham staying up. Dangerous times ahead for ourselves. Got to pray Brighton and Huddersfield suffer second season syndrome and finish below us as all the other teams are looking to compete. Wey, so are Brighton and Huddersfield, but they are the most likely way we stay up right now.

The way football is going we'll need to spend £100m a year just to stay in the division. At some point we become a Championship club and stay one under Ashley. He doesn't have the ambition or finances to complete at this level and really he should be looking to accept the best offer he can get and get out while he can. If a real upfront offer of £300-350m came in i think he'd snap their hands off. On a side note, one thing i never understood about our relationship with SD is why didn't Ashley make SD pay for advertising? He only owns a certain % of SD, while he owes all of us. Really its better for him personally that SD paid handsomely for the partnership and the money from SD helped the club grow. Same for merch etc...we should have got the best deals, if so the club could have been worth a fortune with that additional backing. I wonder if as fans we have any legal right to have the clubs finances investigated. Find out where the money is going and who to? See how we've been exploited financially over the years.

If he goes to prison we get Bane. Ashley didn't know who Rocker was till he put on the mask. Boosh!

NWOAP: Him and Barco are currently rocking it at SJP on my current FM save.

If this place wants to have a say in this then you can't go round calling those who oppose names, or the argument is lost already. Just as you linked twitter to here this place is visible to all, you've not insulted him to his face, it's worse it's behind his back. It's cheap, it would be better if you argued your point with him rather than calling him a cunt for having a difference of opinion. It's not just you, this place struggles to accept those who's opinions differ and go against the majority. I'm saying this as I think theres a real chance of something happening with the campaign, Rafa is a great figurehead and it's a brilliant idea the fans use him against Ashley and most want him to stay. However just like brexit, you call out people, call them stupid, call them cunts, it just cements their position. He may not see it, but someone else might and they may not support the movement if they are reading that they are a cunt for stsying, when all they see is themselves being loyal to the club.
-
He's not the one being a cunt about it though, you are. He's put his thoughts up without having a go, in fact say good luck to the opposing opinions while you call him a cunt for it. No need. If you truly want this to work then don't attack those who have a difference of opinion, in the end it justifies theirs (for them anyway) even more and theyll not change. For me, I stopped going years ago, not even Rafa can bring me back. I won't set foot in the stadium till Ashley has gone and I've waited years so I really do hope this campaign unsettles him and draws interest from outside so we could finally see a sale. I won't hold my breath but want to applause those behind it, so lay off the cunt jibes and be the bigger person, you never know that thry may be swayed if they are reasoned with.
-
Yep, agree with this. They're trying. 5/1 for us to go down with wolves 9/1, almost twice as likely to go down than a promoted team. Wolves fans must be buzzing right now.
-
Beginning of the end for Rafa here and of any chance of a functioning club.
-
Fulham will finish ahead of us and mitrovic will outscore any of our strikers.
-
Buy? Don't be daft. We can loan them from Sports Direct at £250k per ball for a year. Seems legit business practise.

Written off by page 3 and sold by page 12.

Wouldn't hold it against him putting a half arsed shift in final season or walking at the last minute to cause as much damage as possible. Normally I'd expect better but it's clear we're never going to do this correctly with Ashley and we may as well stop embarrassing ourselves in the top flight when we can't compete against promoted teams and clubs with any amount of ambition. The club is dead with or without Rafa, he's just delaying the inevitable. What a cunt you are Mike Ashley.
-
If we sell all our strikers and rondon was backup to our main striker yet to come in I could live with it.
-
What a time to be alive. Hope we go down, a nothing entity of a club.
