Not having a go, but you were 3 (fuck me i feel old) when they were last in the Premier league. Why for old times sake? Genuinely curious.
-
No thanks. No heart and no desire to be here.

Course it will be, and agents fees. We budget properly, might not be what we want to hear but it's what any of us would do if say we wanted a new kitchen.. Well I've got 10k gonna spend it all on units and fuck fitting. Still player sales will balance wages as well as increase funds... £50m all in would be a decent leap forward imo.

Just heard from a decent hp a new contract to be announced early next month. Another 3 years, not sure if that's plus this year or not. (same person who told my he was staying after relegation but also did say he would walk start of last season so 50/50 )

Sounds like the gobshite new owner is finding it tougher than he thought. Looks like the high earning players are still drunk off their wages at the piss take party and refusing to go home. Meanwhile the good, honest MLF white knights are stuck at the doorway not allowed to enter to start the clean up process. I'm guessing the bairn type loans will be back in place soon as them paying for the privilege, this leaving very little time to sign an entire football team of players.

Not sure what happened to him. Went off the boil once the move was made permanent. Thought we'd stick with him and see him through so must be down to the player wantibg to leave.
-
At this stage it look likely we're favourites for relegation next year. Unlike you to be overly dramatic. Glad you could tell I was taking the piss.

Lost out on another main target to Hibs.

https://www.chroniclelive.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/head-recruitment-tony-coton-warns-14781533 “The financial implications of where this club has been means we have to operate differently now, “We’re shopping in a different supermarket. We’re not shopping in Harrods any more.” “I’ve had agents ring me up putting the names of good players to me but once they’ve told me what sort of money these players would be looking for I’ve had to stop the conversation because we’re not going anywhere near that,” he said. That a League One player should be out of the financial reach of a top-half Serie A club even after his pay was cut by 40 per cent last summer gives an indication of what generous payers Sunderland (and the Premier League as a whole) have been. Dijon have ruled out making centre-back Papy Djilobodji’s season-loan loan permanent because the Black Cats were paying two thirds of his £32,000 wages last season, while World Cup-bound playmaker Wahbi Khazri’s £37,000 weekly remuneration is thought to have stopped Rennes exercising a £6m option to make his loan permanent. Bleak outlook.

Disgraceful transfer all round. Not his fault mind.
-
People will pay it. If not someone else will, sadly.

Mitro is better than rondon. What a waste of time.
-
stood aside man The Don has tweeted saying they weren't interested despite it being widely reported they were before he went to Peterborough He's learning quickly A couple of well placed fake twitter accounts could send him over the edge before they've even kicked a ball. He reacts to everything.
-
Looks like their first attempt at signing a player has gone pair shaped. Lost out to Peterborough
-
Well that's your fault for watching villa expecting to see him shine.
-
Overall its an horrific piece of business, but they've done well to get that kind of fee for him. No doubt it still leaves them owing Lorient, but at a massively reduced rate plus saved wages.
-
Didn't realise they've spent £17.5mil on him Broken our record Our bastards can't hide now. IF we ever broke our transfer record on that calibre i'd be pretty much gutted apart from the fact it means its not Owen.
-
He needs a good 15 goals in the championship over a season to have any chance of making it with us. Going back to Blackburn would be ideal.
-
That's some concussion like.
-
Zouma, Kennedy & Abraham, least this way the money is spent.
-
What a shame. There's an easy solution really. You just give the club away to someone from non league football, hire a smooth talker and sprinkle some magic fairy dust around. Debt's gone, everyone's excited (for a month or two anyway) and the job's a goodun!
-
He slapped the spirit of Vierra into him. He goes we are absolutely fucked Lose him and it’s all over. Rafa, the buzz, Premiership football, any hope for the future. It really will spell the beginning of the end.

Thry ever confirm what happened?
