If they really think our protests didn't influence a single thing well you can probably file that second to the 'not wanting to look like a mag' in their ridiculous reasons why they don't do anything. They're jealous of Mike Ashley. They're actually jealous. It’s not Ashley they should be jealous of, it’s the fans of our club. It’s our fans that have kept the club afloat. Paying for tickets, attending matches and sticking with the club. Ashley has nothing to do with it. The club is doing well in spite of him. Short has more ambition than Ashley and actually put his own money in year after year trying to make them better than they actually were. Luckily for Ashley he bought a better club, there’s nothing else to it.

Easy worth that price. Staveleys fault for being cheap. Just think our captain has gone from a £10m player to at least £30m and we now have a striker on loan which will fetch £20m plus and we'd have been lucky to see double figures before the loan. We've not stood still, we've moved forward, that reflects in the price.

Great day to work in Sunderland. Standing waiting for my food whistling going down, staying up.

What a pair of utter bellends man It's all fine laughing at them from a distance, but there's no absolutely no need to rub it in outside the ground like. Arseholes. I went to the Bournemouth game that saw them down for the Premier last season, not once did I think of acting like a cunt and revel in their misery....I at least waited till I was back in the house. TBH I felt sorry for them, brought back memories of our own relegations. This one though I’ve absolutely no sympathy for them.

Around £60m for the pp and the loan to sbc. They are first in line for their credit so will be in then out. Rest is owed to short. If they go in to administration now short gets nothing so it won’t happen.
-
Unlikely as Short would kiss goodbye to the parachute money they got coming in.. As it would need an owner of man city type to clear the debt they don't have a lot of options. Sunderland are proper f..... This time next year will be the most likely time for administration with only a minimal PP left to come in. If they don’t get everyone on over 10k a week out the door this summer it’s a real possibility.

I'm sure talk at the time was that a fee of £8m had been agreed for N'Dong at the end of the season, and he would be going. 6 players on loan themselves... but I'm sure Lua Lua was also only on loan? Just an option iirc, he’s never played for Watford and doesn’t get on the bench currently. Be lucky to shift him in the summer. Another loan, probably to France and covering a large amount of his wages will be the best they can do with him. Lens & Borini are agreed so will leave. They got to shift kone, khazri and dodgybodi asap while hoping they can come to some agreement to release rodwell. If they can give cattermole away they’ll have done well.

SBC’s loan is secured against the PP. it’s gone as soon as it comes in. It's still turnover though which means it'll inflate their salary cap above the other L1 teams whether they keep it, spend it, pay off debts or whatever. A very feint silver lining, especially when they’ll still have 15 or so players all earning more than the highest paid league one player...some of them doubling the current earner, in fact rodwell will be nearing 3 times that, even with a 40% pay cut. Ouch. Ps: short is apparently having to put in £500kpw to keep them afloat. When consortiums are trying to club together £60m to buy the club and struggling, then finding another £24m a year in its current state to keep it going is a no go and why talks have stalled. They might have a higher wage cap, but the club won’t be in any position to use it.

Deduction will count towards next season, so that info is incorrect.

He won’t go to Arsenal, but I think we may lose him due to Wenger retiring and bump starting the merry go round.

Took sky bet up on their 33/1 for the mackems to stay up. Can cash out for double my stake and no matches have been played yet. Never seen that happen.

End of a thread and a club. Shame.

That 8th place looks tasty.

Hang on, thought it was a dead cert we'd win this?

33-1 to stay up...put £15 on just to make sure that doesn’t happen.
