Be quite nice if all 3 promoted clubs stay up. Would show just how competitive last season in the championship was and that we did alright securing the title.

 4 fucking years man. Scary.

The board know that Rafa in is good for the tills. I bet we're making more money matchday today than we have have done under Ashley (well taking in to account outsourcing catering etc...) He's worth the extra wages to the club, even on paper.

the flat roof comment? No, the bookies you daft bugger Ofc the pub Its referring to the old council estate boozers knocked up in the 70s. Think Shameless. Pretty good advice tbh.

Sell them both, put Woodman on the bench & make a profit... GWWA?

(2 days old so you've probably all seen it) http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/43360246 But he's in full meltdown mode. Absolutely glorious to see.

Got us 12th with 38pts. As long as the big 6 do what is expected of them then the bottom 8 all have pretty tough run ins. Wham too the last spot on gd with 35pts. So 2 wins will do it.

Gerrin Silly cunt. Hopefully the last we hear of him. Manure fans will be laughing theirs cocks off at this and for years to come. Just need Quinn to do a bit of drink driving and run over a homeless army vet.

4. Win our next match and it’s a 2 and almost job done. Could see us going on a tidy run and finish comfortable. Could also see us blowing our next game heaping daft amounts of pressure on ourselves.

Cool story, can't wait to read the book 'Bouncing Back'

Staveley will buy us if/when we stay up. She'll not be back. She will be. According to a lot on here (and tbf the bookies) we're basically safe. The biggest threat is Rafa walking, therefore if they want him they'll have to act before the season is finished. If you want to see her back in or anyone before Rafa walks then something needs to happen sharpish. I'd also be surprised if Ashley is willing to even entertain her and her parties after the fallout last time. This if any of it was a serious attempt to buy the club, i'm still uncertain as to her motives, but what i am certain of is the takeover talk and playing it out in the media nearly derailed our season. It was only after Ashley told her to fuck off did we start to get going again. I don't want the same happening again in the summer crippling us before we've even kicked a ball in anger.

Sure they'll be a few players here who'll want to see him suffer. I don't think its lost on the collective bunch of players just how much this fraud is hated here. If they are in any doubt, that feeling will be vocally aired should he still be there when we play them.

Johnny Evans, £3m. Probably go to Chelsea for £150kpw like for that fee.
-
Hopefully. They'll be dangerous next year, they have something we lack: Ambition.
-
I hope he doesn’t go. He’ll be in the shop window if he does go, and Ashley would sell him before selling the club. Would be very bitter of us to not want him to go in case he does well and clubs come calling. I do understand the logic, just don't agree with it.

I think the best we can hope for is another loan. I'd take that.

Newcastle supporter and really dodgy keeper through and through.

This is a very valid point. I think they'll leave it as late as possible, as you never know what will happen, but I can really see that if they're looking likely to go down they'd do it this year rather than next. Right before the cut-off date. Won't happen this season. No benefit for either Short or the loan company. This time next year if they have the same board then it would be nailed on. Apart from the loan secured on the parachute money all the rest of the debt is to short. So why would he go into administration? He's also got a few cast iron sales for players out on loan. They'll get some money for Kone, even if its £4m or so. Then there are assets like training and academy (i've already heard one is sold but never seen anything to confirm it) to be sold to property developers. All that, plus the second (3rd year less so) of parachute payments suggests Administration is at least a year away. Wishful thinking to say otherwise. What would they do without the training ground? Get it back on rent? They'd train somewhere else, possibly their ground or they could sell parts of the training setup it while keeping enough open for the first team. Depends what the land is worth due to location. It'll be mostly undeveloped fields with a building complex, keep the building, one or two pitches, sell the rest.

Some cracking HT signings on a shoestring budget. The big one yet to still play as well.

If we beat WBA & Huddersfield at home Stoke or Palace (if both lose this weekend) would have to win half their games to finish above us...its in our hands at home, we should see this through. Be great if we get a point from Spuds.
