This is a very valid point. I think they'll leave it as late as possible, as you never know what will happen, but I can really see that if they're looking likely to go down they'd do it this year rather than next. Right before the cut-off date. Won't happen this season. No benefit for either Short or the loan company. This time next year if they have the same board then it would be nailed on. Apart from the loan secured on the parachute money all the rest of the debt is to short. So why would he go into administration? He's also got a few cast iron sales for players out on loan. They'll get some money for Kone, even if its £4m or so. Then there are assets like training and academy (i've already heard one is sold but never seen anything to confirm it) to be sold to property developers. All that, plus the second (3rd year less so) of parachute payments suggests Administration is at least a year away. Wishful thinking to say otherwise. What would they do without the training ground? Get it back on rent? They'd train somewhere else, possibly their ground or they could sell parts of the training setup it while keeping enough open for the first team. Depends what the land is worth due to location. It'll be mostly undeveloped fields with a building complex, keep the building, one or two pitches, sell the rest.

Some cracking HT signings on a shoestring budget. The big one yet to still play as well.

If we beat WBA & Huddersfield at home Stoke or Palace (if both lose this weekend) would have to win half their games to finish above us...its in our hands at home, we should see this through. Be great if we get a point from Spuds.

Wonder if we'll go full Anti-Newcastle and win a pen?

They'll be buzzing.
-
Aye. Can't wait for the twat to retire.
-
We better not fuck this up from this position.
-
So far, yes. So the best we'll do is draw.

Huge glint in his eye compared to other relegation managers on the Ssn roundup. Love that.

Our best striker. Wasn't given much of a chance last year either. Rafa has totally got this wrong.
-
4-1 please, at least i get some money out of this.

I see the SoL is opening its door to the homeless over the weekend... There's a fairly obvious joke in there but at least they are doing something.

Who's offering this? I'm going to stick a tenner on that as an absolute worst case scenario saver bet. Skybet. 4/1 them, 5/1 us, double bet 29s.
-
Also 29/1 for us to be in the same division next season.
-
Should go out to 7-1 if the lose to Millwall and just one other result goes against them... If so then I'll jump on it.
-
Shit odds atm. Hopefully goes further out tonight and if thry don't beat Millwall... Will look again and hoy as much on as I can afford to lose.

Raising our game against Man Utd and beating them? Forgot that is our normal service. We do tend to raise our game against the better opposition and then mess up in the bread and butter games. Just because we didn't beat Burnley, Brighton etc doesn't mean we won't beat Arsenal. Us beating Man Utd at home doesn't mean we'll beat WBA at home. Football doesn't work like that. Arsenal have looked really fragile away from home this season We've collected most of our points from teams around us. This suggests manu was a one off.
