  1. If they'd bid £15m for him he'd be having his medical around about now.
  2. The Viz is running it as well
  3. It's the end of the night and we don't want to go home alone so standards drop through the floor and we'll cosy up to any old boiler. That's where we are lads.
  4. Would certainly have a better resale value. Didn’t Celtic reject a bid from Brighton for him in the summer for £20m? Three was talk of a £18.5m bid but not sure what happened. Celtic are also keen on Gayle from what I've been told.
  5. Surely we can get Celtics Dembele for £20m and reasonable wages.
  6. This is the best Rafa can come up with for £20m? Hope he knows what he's doing.
  7. Apparently they only want £12m for him, a bit off from the £20m forward we were after. Mayve he's a bit further down the list? Possibly value has increased with performance?
  8. I've been told it's some Angers striker Brighton were looking at early this season. Seems random enough to be possibly true.
  9. Is it feasible the forum has left the atmosphere?

Wasn't sure from the performance of the first game against Norwich but looked tidy in the second game. Can't see him playing anywhere but in Atsu's position though, feel we have bigger issues.
  11. Imagine our record signing being a 29 year old Watford fringe player. Think I’d take it as well.
  12. Think Rafa has persuaded Ashley to buy a good striker first before recouping some of the fee in selling mitro or Gayle. Don't think anything else will have really changed just that we can't afford to lose players before we shuffle the pack and he's got the message. We'll maybe. We'll see.
  13. Jenas was an attacking midfielder until he was a few years in then decided to start passing backwards and sideways (an 18-20 year old Jenas was his peak for me) That type of player is always going to have a bigger impact, especially the way we played football back then. Jenas also had the luxury of playing in an incredible team.
  14. Aye he's young and very raw, far too soon to write him off yet. He's 2 seasons in to his career. One full one in the Championship with us, half a one with Hull and half a one in the prem this season. He's doing well tbh, nothing spectacular but anyone expecting anything more than what he's shown is mental.
  15. Think he's judged harshly bearing in mind its his first season at this level in a team that is collectively not good enough. Personally think he's done alright and will build on it.
