Yes. What a time to be alive. Think it was around £3.5m as well

I doubt it. Buying them, paying off their debts and getting a squad to bring them back up to the Premier League would likely cost just as much, and even then you could invest the money to get them up for it to not happen. Forest, Birmingham, Blackburn, Sheff Wed/Utd, Leeds, Norwich, Ipswich, Derby & Boro are all in a better position to invest in. Sunderland are fucked for a long long time.

I just hope he goes and we can all move on.

https://www.themag.co.uk/2017/10/embarrassing-newcastle-fans-believe-rafa-500m-war-chest-story-look-wrote-newcastle-united/ The Mag, but does make a very important point about the prick who wrote the £500m War Chest shite. Absolutely wanting to set us up for a fall.

If they are interested and aren't too far off then it would be a shame they'd let it slip over valuation. We've been having a go at Ashley for years for not wanting to pay the going rate, not great if the potential new owners won't do the same right from the beginning. Also, even if we only have £100m to spend, i'd rather it be £50m and pay him more as long as he's gone.

£350m and it's done imo. He won't get his £380m asking price, but it'll not be far off. He wants away like, he's not messing this time.

You bit, and hard. Lol......Well that dozy twat Reiver is such a bitter twisted fucker that just creates things in his own little world. I've noticed , but if you are going to post then you've got to rise above it. He's dragged you down to his level and beaten you with experience.

He's exactly like Pardew in that he cannot accept or put any blame upon himself. If the manager isn't going to protect the players and take the flak then he quickly loses them when shit goes south. None of them have his back as he clearly doesn't have theirs. Time is up.

A Due Diligence Data Room is the place where the company places copies of the financial, legal and business documents that define the history and future of the company for prospective investors to review prior to submitting a formal offer. http://www.duediligencedataroom.com/What-is-a-Data-Room.html I've been involved in a few company takeover processes myself (was a member of the executive management team in a company put up for sale). My experience is that 80% of initial interested parties pulls out before entering the data room stage. Good stuff

Watmore looks like their only hope of getting out of this mess and it looks like Brighton are going in for him. That’ll kill them

Combined XI is all a bit too RTG for me.

Mr Sumner looks like he's had a hair transplant. Needs his money back

Well, he must be 60(ish) now! He's never looked anything other than rough. Looks no different now to how he did during the last Auf Wiedersehen, Pet. Last? More like first. Guy looked rough as tits when he was in his prime.

We got what we paid for. No foul on this one, he's decent but will struggle to find consistency.

Apart from Palace its going to be tight (and Palace are capable pf making up ground) i'd say 36pts will keep you up. I'm hoping for around 44pts as things stand, with investment you'd hope to be knocking on 50.

Perfect response to their "better the devil you know" pish. Well besides "fuck off". Jeff Stelling gave it the "better the devil you know" pish on Soccer Saturday about us having new owners if it happens. Ashley hasn't done that bad as we have Rafa, and are in the top ten he spewed. Thought better of him, not now the Hartlepool supporting moron. Edit : sorry just noticed Wullie mentioned it a couple of pages back. Jeff was playing Devils Advocate (as usual) all day (not just with us) to spark some debate, really the issue lies with all of the panel just nodding and agreeing. Devil's Advocate or not, Jeff Stelling is the last man who should be giving advice on running a football club, since he's been Hartlepool United's club president they've managed to get relegated from the football league for the first time in their entire history. Yeah that's all down to him.

Bizarre opinion. Elliot has been ok and definitely shouldn't be first out the door. We definitely need a better keeper, but I would have no problem with Elliot as reserve keeper. I just don't like him. I appreciate why Rafa is sticking with him over other choices, but i'd be replacing him immediately and using other keepers as backup.
