If someone activated it now, and didn't get personal terms and medical agreed untill tomorrow, we'd decline the offer as the clause has expired, and if it was anyone in the league, they have needed to submit paperwork already for work permit.

Sure the Uefa one is calender year, if so, this one is set by the PL therefore can be changed. Might be a vote, reckon it's an easy vote through as it helps plenty of teams.

Happy to take him next season on a free, and think we'd get more out of him than wilson, but if we're proper skint, this is a move which will hold us back in the same way Tonali & Barnes has, but at least you can state luck and hindsight there.
