Felt like a lot of the games they won early in the season they used up a lot of luck doing so. You could say they've been equally unlucky in their defeats, but not so sure. They are a young team which has been played into the ground. The manager has had no real choice but to ease off (not bscked in jan) just depends whether the row of defeats has climbed inside and knocked their confidence. Fans as usual haven't helped, kicking off about the tail off. Same fans who booed off their teams 1st home defeat sometime in November (or near that). Not sure the fans have the stomach or bottle for the playoffs. Theyll point fingers and nash their teeth at the players if thry don't win, but that lack of support, energy, nerves and entitlement will seep into the players and it becomes a self fulfilling prophecy. Just takes one moment though. If thry get it things quickly change. Very interesting to see how they handle it.

quickest check ever there

They've completely lost it on rtg. Everyone being attacked. Players, fans, owners, manager and each other. Seems like Rigg has being exposed to their famous 'support', same as Watson earlier in the month, with a flair up as he walked to the tunnel and then a dust up in the stands. 4th not good enough. Booing all round. Boring & timid manager. Weak minded players who should be soldier and give it 100% in every situation. Big gamble by le piss, easing off going into the playoffs after securing their spot, but don't think he had much option. Team was and still is mentally and physically drained, probably to do with a lot of youth players in the squad holding key positions. Question is whether the rest has worked. Or now they are in a rut. Big issue for them is not many have dealt with playoffs or promotions finals, especially at this level. Most expensive final in world football. There's a lot on it. Promotion is a death sentence to their pretence that they can compete in the PL and that thry belong. I think this is the main worry for them. Be a lot of players and fans secretly not wanting this, including the owner as he'll need to spend, even if he's planning to sell or just cash in, some level of investment will be needed. Players will demand new contracts with release clauses, the manager wont see the season out, and the fans are going to be irate getting bumped every week. If they miss out on promotion, they can have a rant, blame each other, then go again next season where they can carry on the delusion they belong in the top league, and I think that suits them best.

So did Villa.

What an absolute shame. Lesser of 2 evils today.

His all action style starting to take its toll. We should be watching this, same as Willock (not style, but injuries), it was coming, and now its constant with him.

Where's that from? Nail on head, like. Same for quite a few places though.

They'll try and lay claim to anything, regardless how far fetched, and when hit with reality, brush it off or twist it to fit. Shocked due to their shipbuilding roots they haven't lay claim to marratime law. Originally from the docks on the wear, where MLF were so fucking hard, what they said goes, including at sea, and the king at the time came up to sunderland to beg if he could use it and adopt it across the worlds seas. After agreeing to adopt red and white on the flag of England in return, marratime law was created; only the southern cunts couldn't understand them and by the time they reached London it landed as maritime law. Rest is history. Etc...

Terrible timing that. Players heads messed with. Do they get to stsy if thry go up, or is it better for them to stay in the championship. Additional pressure on promotion. Oops.

They've been doing that for the last few weeks on RTG. They go up, he's sacked by Christmas, so he might as well do another season or 2 in the Championship.

Froggy is a manure twat, but he's our manure twat. Think of him as that 'uncle' who has nowt else in his life but to come join the family on Christmas day. You're not sure of the relation, he stinks, gets a bit gobby, but he's there and wouldn't be the same without him. Well that's Froggy. Just don't trust him around the kids.

we've been shocking. Especially at the back. Tripps & Schar look 100 years old.

Pathetic all round

Good news is, both spuds and manure cannot win it. Someone is salty. 😂

Mint. Couldn't give a fuck then. Easy team for us to beat should we draw them.

Would thry take 5th CL spot or 6 teams in the CL?
