  1. Are you forgetting that Keegan has replaced Allardyce? Doesn't stop Keegan rating Barton and Butt, and it doesn't stop the fact that it appeared from the touchlines that Enrique and N'Zogbia weren't pressing as far forward as Keegan wanted against Bolton.
  2. Right this is getting a bit over the top. I'd advise people to think before they type, and remember that there are rules against libellous comments on this forum.

    Walcott on Loan

More mobile than any of our strikers.
  4. I reckon he'll go for Barton and Butt in midfield. Zog at left back.

    Chimbonda

    Swap for Stephen Carr?

Bit of a stupid stance to take. If they are good enough to improve our team's league position, we get benefit from it, and it is irrelevant if we are helping Arsenal, as they aren't in our league.
  7. Shola isn't injury prone. He had one bad injury, but thats all he's really had in eight years.

    Modric

Because no club would meet the asking price.
  9. £9m+£9m-£14m=£4m Very good price if we can get two decent seasons from him.
  10. Wikipedia's take: Goran Pandev's position varies, his favoured position is a centre foward (supporting striker) for Lazio playing behind Tommaso Rocchi, but since Srecko Katanec became the head coach of the Macedonian National Team (EURO 2008 Qualifiers) he has been given a free role which means he can play anywhere in the midfield. This position is very similar to Attacking Midfield.
  11. So what's he told you in the past that's came true. Great minds.
  12. Tell us something he has got right before please.
  13. Have we ever had two players who were exactly the same age? This could be a great trivia question. Where's James, he'd love a thread like this. I know that there is a mod on here born on the same day as an ex-admin, if thats what you mean Janitor? Happy Birthday Taylor and Enrique mind! Hope Steven didn't throw his toys out of the pram when he found out that Jose got more presents mind
  14. Why on earth did you post that? Started off as something different, but couldn't find the words to say what I wanted, so it turned into something different. My mind is dead tonight.
  15. Keegan could be described as after Woodgate if you take into account that Keegan was appointed in 2008 whereas Woodgate played for us circa 2002. Though Keegan could also be before woodgate in that he was a player circa 1983 and a manager circa 1992. Thus Woodgate is after Keegan. Of course, if Woodgate is signed again, he will be before and after Keegan like a sandwich[/random gobbledegook]
  16. Stick a wink on, just as a caveat at least. allegedly.
  17. Blocking shots. Should have been a goalkeeper tbh.
  18. I'd say Taylor has one world class attribute that is very noticeable, and disguises less visible weaknesses in his game. I'll give people three guesses as to what I think that attribute is.
  19. Seemed to do well against Bolton's lot though. Learning and gaining in confidence perhaps? Perhaps a change in the team's approach has also helped?
  20. Jenas is a confidence player, I'd expect him to go on a bit of a run, only to crumble when we play them.
  21. Cacapa has shown that he is an excellent player of excellent pedigree. However, I have pointed out before that we have signed players used to playing in good teams that seem to crumble when the rest of the team under the cosh. Allardyce made this worse by reckoning that we should be looking to play under the cosh and the long ball a 1-0 win. I would like to see how Cacapa and other players like Butt will do when Keegan puts a team out with the intention of putting the opposition under the cosh.
  22. Was this the guy who gave England the heevy jeevees when they drew 0-0 with Macedonia?
