  1. Thats abit harsh Not really. If Berbatov likes Newcastle that much, knowing that we needed a Shearer replacement, I'm sure he was touted to us, and he eventually went to Spurs at a very good price.

    Find X-Mags

Gary Caldwell at Celtic is probably the only youngster that made a success of himself since being released by Newcastle.

    Urby Emanuelson

I trust Comical Ali more than I trust NUFC Blog.
  4. Roeder was stupid not to sign him last summer.
  5. http://www.newcastle-online.com/nufcforum/index.php?topic=45719.msg1033965#msg1033965 Post 111; "I made a slight slip up assumming N'Zogbia not playing due to seeing Milner Smith Geremi Butt and Enrique in orange bibs, but the orange bib theory still holds firm, and is giving away the team lineups a little too far in advance." Conclusion - You're a fruit. That was a case of me misreading the evidence, falsely assuming that Viduka was fit. This time, N'Zogbia, Butt, Barton and Shola almost definitely miss out, while Enrique, Taylor, Geremi, Owen and Martins almost definitely start. Want to bet on it? Your mod status if you're wrong. Seeing as your "almost" certain you won't have no qualms about it... Bets have to work two ways, and your internet persona has nothing to offer, so I decline. I'll be banned for a week. Stop trying to weasel out of it. I'm sorry, but I refuse to fuel your mission for self importance. A mission that is clearly motivated by a real-life angsty inferiority complex.

  8. Just jealous I've worked it out tbh. I'd usually be 99% sure, but this weekend its 90%. Just be glad it isn't 100% as that would mean that Pattison starts.
  9. Are you sure you aren't Mihir Bose? I read his blog on the BBC, and the two of you come across as very similar. Or would you say that these London ITK's inevitably have the same sources as these journalists? The ITK's spread the word, the journos usually pick the story up a day or two later. I know for a fact that's how the Mail gets their stories. De Cler for Davids for example?
  10. Orange bibs has a 100% success record so far.
  11. I've been predicting starting lineups this season using a Friday training orange bibs analysis. This week, its a bit difficult, as those who played on Wednesday plus a couple others have clearly been given a break, with reserves taking their place in the training match. I would however predict that Taylor, Geremi and Enrique start, while Butt, Barton, N'Zogbia and Ameobi miss out. Orange bibs may not work this week though, as a consequence of the international week plus the Monday night fixture messing up training schedules.
  12. Chelsea are in real trouble in my opinion. Can see them failing to make top 4, and may even struggle for 5th or 6th dependent on the form of other clubs.

  14. Don't forget the tin foil. Anyway, you do that every other Wednesday night, nowt special there! Are you sure it isn't you stalking me?! I've seen what you do with a tube of lube, lets put it that way. [/nervous]

  16. Spurs hardly have any defensive options at the moment. I'm looking forward to Jenas' annual cock-up at SJP.
  17. All those that don't care probably don't bother opening the thread, everyone is happy! That doesn't make sense It does.
  18. Some of the comments here are worth reading: http://www.newcastle-online.com/2007/07/05/buying-from-our-premiership-rivals-2007-bolton-wanderers/#more-717
  19. If Danquah plays for Holland in Euro2008, I will walk stark naked across the Tyne Bridge, humming Local Hero backwards.
  20. I dont think you have to worry too much about public transport if you are in London, as Reading is the last major terminal before London Paddington, and thus trains to London are going to be very frequent. Between 18:58 and 19:18 on a Saturday, there are 5 trains.
  21. And some people dare call you fickle. Whats wrong about wanting one of your teams nice guys to win Euro2008 if your home country cant? I was just kidding, however how do you know he's a nice guy and isn't a serial killer? You been stalking people again? Thats what Allardyce said. I've never stalked anyone!
  22. Difference of course being that Rozehnal starts for the Czech's whenever fit.
