Given 7 - Saved well, terrible distribution Carr 8 - Excellent last ditch anticipation, got forwards well Rozehnal 7 - Composed Ramage 7 - Solid Huntington 5 - Not a left back Solano 7 - At his best at times for touch passing and movement, but often went missing Geremi 8 - Mobile and effective N'Zogbia 9 - Confident, terrorising, passed the ball well Milner 8 - Gave Juve the runaround Martins 7 - Some of the best link up I've seen from him. Luque 6 - Good flick-ons and linkups, scored Carroll 7 - Brave and energetic. Scored. Dyer 7 - Excellent. Saved shot was actually a very good save by Buffon. Patisson 6 - Best NUFC performance, but not upto it. Troisi 6 - Did ok Edgar 7 - Solid Lough 6 - Being a natural left back, he was positionally better than Huntington Barnett - Was pretty invisible, due to Juventus onslaught at end.

Put it this way: If Given, Carr, Rozehnal, Ramage, Solano, Geremi, N'Zogbia, Milner, Martins, Luque, and Dyer all played that well in every game they feature in this season, top six will be no problem.

You seem to know quite a bit about Trezeguet, what's his favourite colour? Green I thought Green aswell. Does anyone else think Trezeguet = Green? Blue I reckon.

Thats an insult to us to be honest.

We had the resilience of Bolton, but with extra pace and flair.

On the subs bench was a youth prospect that seems to be having a look around a few clubs to see who to join. What impression would the booing give him?

It is quite an easy mistake to make to be honest.

A little digging has led to me discovering that triallist Charlie Barnett is an engine room central midfielder currently on the books of Liverpool's youth team. He wants to leave Liverpool as he feels that the influx of young foreigners is pushing aside the development of British youngsters. Anyone that wants him will have to pay Liverpool about £125,000.

I reckon our players are very close to match fitness. On that basis, many of the more fringe/reserve players will get the 60 mins, with others making cameos later, and then we'll go full whack into Sampdoria.

Speaking of pics... http://cache.gettyimages.com/xc/75849007.jpg?v=1&c=NewsMaker&k=2&d=17A4AD9FDB9CF193954D25304569000448F57947477B8145 This is foul and red card for Gianluigi Buffon. No its not I thought you missed the first half. Even if you did see it, you would have only done so the once. Replays clearly showed that it was a foul.

I've deleted the Ashley option, as that just has no relevance whatsoever.

Given that you find the mocking of handicapped people on youtube funny, I say that it serves you right.

Mail also saying Martins scored, before going on to describe Carroll's goal.

Good thing Sunderland's £5m signing Michael Chopra isn't still here, otherwise he'd be 7th choice striker.

Thats what I'm thinking. My team is now: James Niemi Geremi Campbell Distin Terry Yobo Ronaldo Arteta Milner Noble Taarabt Owen Berbatov Lita

Has it been a really weak Juve side? Just come in, seen nowt, read just about the goalscorers. They made plenty of changes, and are way behind us in terms of preparation for a new season. Only played one game less than us.

Has it been a really weak Juve side? Just come in, seen nowt, read just about the goalscorers. On paper that should be a vey good Juve team, but they didn't look it.

Although it is only pre-season, others will see our pre-season results and be genuinely fearful of us.

I thought Carroll might have been offside for his goal - he was slightly ahead of Zebina when Martins shot I thought, although you cant take his goal away.

Players in order of goodness: Milner Geremi Rozehnal Carr Solano Ramage N'Zogbia Martins Luque Carroll Given Huntington First eleven names mentioned have all been excellent though.
