  1. Bale and Coutinho are both reasonably priced in my opinion and their clubs will want to offload them to release some cash. There are going to be a lot of selling clubs and FFP rules may be relaxed.
  2. It’s hard to say without understanding what the new owner’s strategy for club development will be. Rafa would be number one if we have a more organic project over X years. Pochetino would be my second choice. If it’s for instant success with prime elite players, then Allegri. Or Kinnear.
  3. I can reckon that had Ashley been born as ruler of Saudi Arabia he’d be worse than MBS
  4. How do people think he will leave. I reckon he’s going to put one of his famous letters on the club website
  5. It’s going to be amazing, clubs are going to have to sell to balance the books and we could well have a load of cash. We may well try to reunite Kane with Pochetino
  6. I’m surprised at how many players in our squad I would elect to retain with Arab owners. I’d keep all the centre backs (even Clark), Dubravka, ASM and Almiron for at least the next season.
  7. So for the FA Cup you have a group stage with one team from each division of the top 5 divisions, home and away. League Cup as above but football league only and just one game per pairing. Top 6 in the CL, 7-14 in Europa, a new format devised for 15-20 So much that could be done that has less games but can also generate significant income.
  8. For me the solution has always been to cancel the league next year and just come up with a beefed up FA Cup, League Cup and European competition that everyone gets a good number of lucrative games in place

    Players wages

It’s very simple, depending on the situation: Situation 1: Most footballers are paying their tax through PAYE based on their full salary. In which case just under 45% of salaries are already going to HM Treasury to do as they see fit with. Based on 25 man squads in an average of £40k, the government are getting £9m a week from premier league footballer salaries. After which footballers should be free to fundraise internally and donate anonymously with some general press release going out on how much players are collectively donating. Situation 2: Players and clubs are using loop holes In which case name, shame and find a way to pull the money back to where it belongs ASAP.

He is not having a go at footballers he is saying that it is wrong to give the money back to their own clubs. He is right.
  11. Also the club price has dropped from a foreign currency perspective

Our own club’s non-first team staff have all had their pay reduced to 80%/£2500 yet all th players and Bruce are getting their full millions. Definitely something not right there!

Dude is it a good idea posting your kids name and photo on an Internet forum? Convicted Paedos have used this site
  14. I actually think he is mentally impaired in terms of his lack of empathy. Not sure if he has Aspergers or is just a plain psychopath or what but something in his head definitely isn’t wired up right.
  15. Has a dog named after Shay Given
  16. Ryder is going to run out of things to write about soon they’ll have to move him to another department. 7 things we learned about potholes
  17. Other than the option I’ve already suggested, could also finish the season in August, start the new season in Sept and cancel the 20/21 League Cup. Would Have to do something different to the transfer window though.
  18. For 2021 there is so much that could be done. Run the FA Cup with 24 groups comprising of 1 team from each division down to tier 6. Run the group home and away, and to fill four groups invite Rangers, Celtic, PSG and Ajax. Do similar with the league cup but with smaller groups (so just covering the usual 96 entrants) That’s a guaranteed 15 games already.
  19. Forget about Liverpool for the time being. There is Watford, Bournemouth, West Ham all tied on 27 points. Promotions, league titles, cup runs, relegations in the balance all across Europe. Millions of pounds at stake. The only fair solution is to prioritise finishing existing competitions ahead of starting new competitions that are yet to happen.
  20. Voiding results or going with pre-existing positions is fundamentally unfair. Competitions should be allowed to resume once it is safe again to do so. For that reason I don’t get why it seems the most stupid idea to instead cancel next season, when no games have been played so no results matter. That way results count and you will still be able to devise a format that gives every team 30 games minimum for the 2020/21 season
  21. The real solution is to pause season, postpone Euros to 2021 and cancel 20/21 season across the board. Forbid new player registrations until 2021 so that teams don’t change. Try to finish season this year if possible then run some weird once in a lifetime competitions for the first half of 2021.
