  1. From .com Got to agree with the Fletcher bit. The twat knew what he was doing. "The lime-green clad visitors looked to be comfortably in control until Tiote's moment of madness although Fletcher was far from blameless, having piled in to challenge well after the whistle had already gone."
  2. It was rolled up paper. I think. Bounced and rolled like a golf ball. Time for the FA to act before someone gets seriously injured at the Stadium of Light.
  3. Aye it is starting to look like Man City knew exactly what they were doing getting rid of him. Agree. Our boys do deserve credit for marshalling him so diligently in the opening spell so that he never had a chance to get going though. Aye we played him very well, I think most teams will be able to stop him playing as he's very predictable.

...... while others clenched the remaining five or six fingers on each hand into a ball and proudly held aloft one digit on each to celebrate their victorious 1-1 draw.........
  5. Was Wickham with our lot? Reckon Wickham will be fine, noone will recognise him. I wouldnt anyway. Aye they're definitely getting a bit cheeky the way they parade themselves around town but like you say nobody would recognise Wickham.

Aye, starting to look like a typical Marty signing who could be a financial millstone for the club for years to come. Toon supporter as well according to Sky.
  8. Not sure what upsets them most, Liam, Andy or the company who got to demolish their traditional and spiritual home Roker Park

I'm taking a narrow perspective? You mentioned the teams and I told you how we've compared this season to last. Why do you think we’ll all of a sudden improve over what we’ve been doing so far. Teams always have injuries and we're no exception to that, we also had injuries last season and still managed to get results. Absolutely right Mick we'll have plenty more injuries and suspensions to cope with, as will all teams. I thought your perpective was narrow primarily because you compared results last season to this season on just a small handfull of games (8 pts last season vs 5 points this). Those few games you were comparing included last season's wins away at Chelsea and home to Man U. Nice as they were there is no way we going to do that regularly. I think we'll start kicking on and may even have a nice European adventure along the way. You don't seem to think so. Time will tell.
  10. Top lad. He looks very comfortable in CM.

Macums sound funny when they are booing.
  12. Aye, me too. Just love European matches. We hear a lot said about players getting tired due to playing extra games but theres a real positive side to these games for keeping peripheral players involved and also to help get/keep players like Tayor/Tiote match fit.
  13. Anyone get "picked off" by Wireside and his chums on their way to the Tullow Tip ?

Starting to look like Man City have done them good and proper over Adam Johnson.
  15. Commiting Colo is the best signing we've made in a long long while.
  16. Never seen a better defender in a B&W shirt.

Decent Sunderland fans seem to have deserted their club and left the racist ignorant rabble to take over, but older supporters may remember their wonderful defender Colin Todd and see similarities with the imperious Colo. How sad they must be to watch the excuse for football that O'Neill is offering them.

People like you are a fucking embarrassment to this forum. He's on here for a wind up (along with a few others). No way is he a Newcastle fan.

Take it you haven't reviewed our December fixtures very closely? Hey mate, I'd be the first to say that there are no easy games any more. We play in a league where Wigan could beat Chelsea and Norwich did beat Arsenal. I just think we've had an awkward start and we will become more fluid in our play from here on.

We got 8 points from those games last season, this season we've got 5. Your taking a narrow perspective to make a point. We've had a hectic schedule and key players out. We're doing OK as things stand and should kick on from here.
  21. That golf ball certainly didn't bounce and roll like it was paper. Bottom line is they were throwing objects on to the pitch at opposition players and the FA needs to act accordingly.

Yeah me too, he got it spot on, but for some obscure reason they wish he was dead. Perhaps they just don't like hearing the truth.

Said it a while ago and I'll stick by it now. When I saw our opening games Spurs, ManU, Everton away, Chelsea away and macums away I thought we'll be fine if we're mid table going into November and fully expect us to kick on from there.
