  1. An exhibition of the police dogs and handler's skills had to be the best ever half time entertainment. #oldgit.
  2. You''re a very angry person ETB. Anger, anger anger. You should get that anger under control marra. FTM NETD STIR (rains)
  3. Bruno never needs rest. Amazing really. Often plays 2 X 90 minutes for Brazil on the other side of the world, travels back and plays 90 a couple of days later. Seldom, if ever, seems to pick up any niggles either. Should be a text book study case for elite conditioning.

    Jacob Murphy

At some point in time the consensus has to become that he's not just a peripheral player but arguably one of our most important (effective) players. It's taking a while to sink in
  5. You could only criticise that header if you've never been on the receiving end of a cross like that
  6. "My bad". FFS that just abut sums you up, Not really a cunt just a sad pretentious prick. You said you were fucking off and not coming back when you took the huff. Do us all a favour and be good to your word,
  7. Not very far then. West Ham are that bad he'd probably improve them.
  8. What's Andy Carroll doing at the moment ?
  9. When the draw was made I'd have considered USG away a tougher game than Benfica at home. We'll see.
  10. Think so. Also see above article about Sir Bobby and Mourinho and getting sacked by Sporting
  11. It's really only games against Porto and Sporting that count, as well as European matches. No credit is given for beating anyone else. Not winning the league is a sackable offence.
  12. Yes we had got on top when they scored their second and we were better second half. I still think something was lacking and we just don't look like a team with a ruthless determination to succeed at the moment.
  13. Yesterday was concerning. We just didn't look like we had the belief we could win the game and seemed to lack the mental strength and determination needed to win in difficult places. Doing it at SJP under the lights occasionally really isn't going to get us to where we need to be. I was so surprised that our front six were all players who had returned from international travels just a couple of days earlier and none of the players who had been on the training ground with the coaches featured from the start. What is the point of an expensively assembled squad if it is not going t be used at times like this ? We are going to fail on all fronts if we don't find out how to rotate and use the full squad.
  14. Yeah, Hit Here always seemed like the sane one.
  15. Obviously money talks but Hurzeler going from St.Pauli to Brighton was a huge downgrade in soul and passion.
  16. Never understood why the Kane Gang didn't endure and sell more. Really liked them. Great sound.
  17. I seem to remember that the NL was structured even higher than that when the "Conference" or Alliance Premier or whatever it was first called came into being. NL clubs refused what would have been direct access to the top tier of non league football at that time. You do wonder with Spartans' level of support and infrastructure how on earth they cannot be a successful top level non league club. If any club has the structure in place it's them. When they eventually sink to their rightful level (in a current playing sense) they'll start winning, they will have gates way above anyone else in the league and hopefully the super tanker starts slowly turning aroound.
  18. Got to say I'd struggle to think of one, of what I'd consider a dedicated match going supporter, who missed the derbies. I fucking hate them and everything that goes on around them.
  19. Showed great character and confidence to want to take the penalty. As a new player there's not a lot to gain (expected to score) but a whole lot to lose if he misses. Shola did the same a couple of times against Sunderland, he was already getting stick and to miss would have made it infinitely worse. Love players with that kind of mental strength.
  20. You still here ? Thought you fucked off in a hissy fit and said you were never coming back ? What ever could have made you change your mind ? # Fickle.
  21. One thing you can't level at him is that his players weren't playing for him. They were. I get what he's like as a manager, but when there are so many more dislikeable people in football I can't find it in me to dislike Ange. I actually quite admire his strength in adversity.
  22. Amazing to hear some pundit (can't remember who) lamenting how hard pre season was for Liverpool with issues off the pitch and how tough it is for Snot to have to integrate new players after the season starts. They've somehow managed to become the victims of the unscrupulous situation their devious underhand practices created, while trying to fuck us in the process Scousers man !
  23. Shame. Just starting to get my head around and appreciate the current structure.
  24. Some of them are backslapping and consoling themselves, as football fans do, about how far they must have come to be disappointed with defeat at Old Trafford. They're dreamily confusing the name Manchester United with the reality of nowadays. Since they were last in the PL places like Bournemouth, Fulham, Brighton, Brentford etc have become tougher places to visit than Old Trafford.
  25. Yes, keepers tend to stand out in bad teams unsurprisingly, and having watched them today after watching an hour of them last week they are a bad team. Really poor. Man United are awful, and mainly looked it today, but they coasted it hardly breaking sweat.
