Id take Kudus for anything under 50m. Not convinced he is a Howe player but he would be a missing creative piece in midfield for sure.

Paul Mitchell - Leaves Club (Hope); No He Hasn't (Edwards)
toontownman replied to 54's topic in Football
Ward would be quite the coup. Would be surprised, he only got a new deal and position last year with Liverpool. Maybe the role isn't what he was expecting though. RE: Mitchell phoning it in. Maybe but I'd think he might want to get a player or two through the door before he leaves as it is win win for his portfolio. If they succeed its another Mitchell signing to highlight, If they fail he can easily say he want in charge at that point etc. -
Player of the season for Brighton but not sure we need another CB lacking pace.

Huge! And a third placed playoff. Perfect time for us to go big this summer. https://womensleagues.thefa.com/wsl-football-regarding-expansion-of-the-bwsl

Gigantic off season of change. Hopefully for the better. We knew about this one but looking forward to seeing where she ends up next.

Leeds and Everton bidding war in the offing. Starting at 10m and dozens of bids later we will deal at 10.5m

Aye it was widely reported he would jump at the chance to come here and was close with some players after England duty. 100% palace or us not wanting to pay more. He was a consummate pro on the face of things at least.

The transfer window pendulum of panic and impatience has finally taken hold. Barely a week in haha. I still think its a bit crazy price wise but this is a player we have wanted and scouted extensively for a LONG time at this point. He is acclimatized to the league too. IF the money is there its probably okay to stretch higher for a player we are convinced will be a hit. All the noises about him wanting to come and being open to playing anywhere across the front line has also swung me into the hope this happens and slightly dissapointed if it doesn't. Expect Chelsea to swoop in 3...2...1...

Means nothing for Chelsea. They will sell their fans back to themselves to get more money.
-
Yeah don't see us getting more than 3 in, maybe 4. Its always less than the ITK journos build it up to be.

"Obviously we didnt want to sell our women's team at any price. We turned away many offers but the 6 billion final offer was too hard to turn down. Fair market value is so subjective."

If we are serious about switching formations to accommodate another striker that maybe puts a question mark on someone like Ramsey coming in? I dont see someone as established as Ramsey coming to sit on the bench. Even with the games we will have. Someone like Jack Rudoni that has been linked is more likely as he will sit and acclimatize. That said, if we want to build a squad to compete then we need top players in reserve. I do think we shift Willock and/or Longstaff this summer. Which means we need to bring one more CM in. If we are predominantly playing 2 in the middle we can lose one CM (or both if we replace one) Tonali, Bruno, Miley, Joelinton and one more is ample. Especially as there are also high hopes for Munda in the reserves and Harrison as a more attacking mid. Hall can also fill that role.

Aye might level out in PSR terms. Depends how much Rogers head gets turned when clubs come in for him.
-
If he is an addition after Pedro and a RW then sure. A straight replacement for Wilson. If we are looking at tweaking to a system with 2 strikers having 4 on the books is necessary.
-
Definitely the player I'd take from Villa. Would cost double Ramsey though.
-
I think if Villa need to sell then vultures will be hovering over Morgan Rogers first and they might have to deal. Ramsey at 29m is very good business. Does sound too low.
-
Unless he isn't fit..

Just dont see this guy as a 60m talent. Surely we can do better at that price? Not that we will likely get all three or any of them but for the price needed to buy Guehi, Elanga and Joao Pedro we could surely buy a 4th if not 5th player if alternatives were all bought abroad.
-
Yeah. I don't want to lose Tino at any cost really. We are still a year or two away from shahar coming up. He is irreplaceable. Hall and Tino have us covered for a decade. I doubt they both stay that long but they cover us until we have real depth coming through the academy regularly.

Whole move is started by Burn not being on the ball.
-
Exactly it's like the players that stuck up for Bruce.
-
We know,, given the chance, Eddie likes to go premier league experience. Im sure whomever we get Eddie will do great with but there seems to be so many options for cheaper abroad
-
Im down for this. Was surprised he never made a competitive appearance for us. Fucking loved Timmie boy though, but giving Fraser an appearance to complete his story would be neat.
-
Quote yesterday-ish Still... don't think he is one for us. Italy looks more likely. Napoli seems to have cooled and Juve on the scene now.

James McAtee seems like a strong possibility at 20m. Also seems like one of those "no brainers" we get linked with heavily and ends up somewhere like Forest or Villa!
