There's only one Kieran Trippier, one Kieran Trippier... ..literally or you get sued for copyright infringement. -

Yikes. That bench. Assume Wissa picked up a knock. Hope Seung-Soo gets on. -
If he plays for England again I will be pleasantly surprised. Miley and Hall should getting a look in though. Tuchel seems to like Burn and to a lessar degree Gordon.

Still on of the best midfielders I saw play for us. Still gutted he dropped us at the first opportunity.
-
Lets be honest he was a panic buy and opportunity with no forward planning to how he would work here. Ironically had we stuck him up top yesterday instead of Gordon and made him stay up top I am sure he would have scored at least once with the service Elanga and others put in during that first half. I feel for him because he does look slow. So does our entire back line currently. We just need to play to Nick's strengths. We have seen he will score when we do.

Not too drawn on whether I like the rule or not as there are pros and cons to this and any adjustment. What is most vitally important is clarity and consistency. If its against the rules, its against the rules. It should be judged consistently as such. Same with pulling shirts, handballs, talking back to the referee and everything else. Officials have to be consistent. Rule makers need to cut out any grey areas. With current technology there is no reason not to be.

On the upside for Spuds. Wolves and Burnley arent catching them. They should be fine. A new coach should see them pick up enough points. Even more of an epic disaster, than the PL season has been if they go down at this point.

Knowing the way things work he will probably play the next match and properly tear it. We need him badly while Joe is gone and Tonali has forgotten what football is.

Stupid half. If we played a striker we might already have this one wrapped up. Gutted for Joe. He deserved that goal. Elanga has been decent. Barnes ok. Ramsey ok. We look super slow at the back. Need to put this to bed. We will surely see a better spurs performance in the second half. They are utterly minging
