I think by now Callum has probably started to come to the conclusion that being a backup striker is a reality unless he is going down a league or moving abroad to a lower level. He just isn't reliable fitness wise. I'm not sure he is worth a new deal at this point. A year ago when he was reportedly pushing for a move I would have kept him as backup to help the younger strikers like Osula. Now I think it's either him or Osula and we need to bring another in to prepare for Isaks eventual departure. However If keeping Callum another year enables us to strengthen elsewhere, I am OK with it.

He is pretty much out for the season isn't he? Cup winning heroics incoming...Hopefully not for Liverpool.

Should think we get close. There will be lots of walk in if the price is reasonable. Then with added promo amping up closer to the game I'd expect we get to at least 20k before match day. Would be nice to break the record!

I think that works both ways though. I had feared barring winning a trophy he would be replaced in the summer. I doubt we can afford or attract anyone better that could work in the situation we are in. Eddie is perfect for getting the best out of players which is what we need while we can't buy top level ones as regularly as we would like and like our aspiring rivals do.

We will lose one of Isak, Gordon, Bruno and Tonali this summer, regardless of where we finish, imo. Fail to qualify for CL and it just means it's 2 or 3. There are lots of eyes on our best players now.

Can't say no at that price. Great deal. Burn, targett and tripps (if the latter two stay) can all cover. A gamble when we are already light at CB and Botman being out so long. We are playing a very calculated game though.

I still find it hard not to like this Forest run. Classic team with personal premier league nostalgia for me with the Frank Clark team. Remember Clark talking about his love for Newcastle, which always helped. Always had a soft spot for them. Will likely change in a month or two if we are still competitive with them for top 4 spots though lol. Brighton though. Yikes.

Was going to say strange to sell to a rival, but then realized that was last season! Given we brought another striker I'd expect its fair to say the move didn't pan out as expected. Good to see we are having success moving players in and out in the women's team.

While the Kılıçsoy rumour is probably nonsense, if we are to bring in anyone this window I could definitely see us bringing in a highly touted youngster that can provide cover if needed but we bed in slowly.
