  1. Huge point for Burnley. Still alive.
  2. Tarkowski has been mint. Cheeky bid going in for sure.
  3. To be fair this is what we all get for watching an Arsenal game.
  4. Apologies if already posted. Sucks for Comoros. https://www.bbc.com/sport/africa/60104273
  5. Feck me, only just saw that challenge. How is VAR not telling the ref its a straight red. That is unbelievable. So late and so clear, absolutely nasty stamp.
  6. If there is one team we can consistently never rely on to give us a result when we need it, it is Arsenal! Hopefully they make the breakthrough next half.
  7. I think the biggest factor is how little play time he has had the past couple of years. He is running himself into the ground every game but he doesn't physically have the same stamina he did when at bournemouth under Howe. Hopefully he just gets stronger. We know there is a player there from his Bournemouth days, IF his body let's him.
  8. Again hoping the Zapata patter is true. It seems like we have identified strong athletic beasts to give us much more presence to assert ourselves in games. Carlos, Botman, Badiashile, Bakker, Bisouma, Fofana, Haidara, Wood, Zapata. Pretty much everyone linked is a big bastard or physically beastly in a non Luke Chadwick way. Trippier is a bit of an outlier in physical stature but he is an absolute terrier. Pace, power and physical presence. I'm fucking all here for it if we can bring it in.
  9. Prefer Kamara as he can play at the back too but Bisouma is proven in the league. Provided not proven guilty in court it would be a cracking signing. Exactly what we need.
  10. We need someone that can hit the ground running. I think Zapata absolutely would. The league is made for him. Someone like Nunes needs a bit of bedding in and protecting. Definitely more of a summer signing. Imo. Remember the days when we had 5 strikers on the books! Wilson, zapata, wood and two more in the summer would be a great squad.
  11. Wouldn't say no to another wide player though. Fraser doesn't look up to it. Can't rely on almiron either. We need another outlet other than ASM or someone if ASM gets injured. Wouldn't rule out a cheeky late dembele bid.
  12. Think they have the money but FFP is fucked. Paying off rafa 6 months into a 36 month contract probably won't help either.
  13. Wouldn't rule it out. Seems like a toxic atmosphere on and off the pitch. Who they pick as manager will be absolutely pivotal. If they get it wrong they could find themselves right in it.
  14. Carlos, Bakker, Alli and Zapata would be fucking mint. Still crying out for a DM though if the above unlikely scenario happened.
  15. What a fucking contrast to last week. Dont remember being so despondent as I was after the watford game. Can't remember feeling this fucking happy after today's win. What a stupid fucking game this is that I get far too emotionally invested in! Bring on the Saudi game. Better be livestreamed on beoutQ or I riot.
  16. Started horrifically, as did most of the backline and midfield. Was an absolute legend by the end. Masterclass. Alongside a quality player he can still be decent for us imo.
  17. Have we actually had a bid accepted or bid for him. We have agreed bloody terms with half of transfermarkt!
  18. Depends how bad Joey's groin is. Priority is still: At least 1 CB 1 DM 1 Striker Would take a LB, CM, Winger and another CB on top lol
  19. That Everton result is delicious. Will be a huge game for both clubs when we play. If we beat them I think we will finish above them. Their manager appointment is absolutely huge.
  20. After seeing a bit of the old shelvey last match he was back to impress the new manager mode again today. We all know he has it when he applies himself. He is his own worst enemy and it's always a cry wolf case of making us think when is he going to revert back to being half arsed again. Hopefully not until the summer and he helps keep us up in the meantime.
  21. He was boss against manure too. He is good defensively and underrated coming forward. Great squad player but better than what we have at LB, even if it's a secondary position for him. He has always been solid there throughout the year at different clubs.
  22. Some ok hold up play. He is a presence in the box which is massive for us. In balance I thought he was fucking grim today though. We need another striker, no doubt but he is a useful weapon off the bench or dependent on the gamelan.

    Joe Willock

Amazing coming forward but knackered himself coming back. We saw "the player" back today that we know he can be. Maybe just needs some match sharpness.
