7 Heart says lower but looking up there are so many teams with squads that can put together a run. We are so brow beaten. The feeling of we should get 3 points from "x" team is such a distant memory. There are very few teams I have that confidence about if any. On the flip side it's still early enough in the year to turn it round and help will arrive in January. It's a mammoth task though, not impossible but we have alot of factors to fight against. Thankfully Ashley and Bruce aren't two of them anymore.

Yep. Seems more beneficial to recall him. Hopefully sacking Shola in the process

Considering how badly it's supposed to be going. Maybe we will recall matty. He is still young enough he doesn't count on the registered squad isn't he?
-
Don't think he has made it about him tbh. He isn't the one asking the questions or putting the narratives out there in the press. He has been pretty humble imo. Happy to have him remain as a coach as stated before. Think he has a lot to offer in that role.

Thought the same tbh joelinton was OK. Though willock would come on after but I can see why he kept shelvey on, the game opened up which is the perfect/only environment for him and Hayden was never coming off. Wilson was gassed, ASM pretty impudent but you keep players on that can change the game like they can with a quick chance. Willock should be a huge part of the team after the break though.

Saw some defensive effort today in the back end of the game. It's not natural for him but I saw it, which tells me he will try. My worry like most is him clashing with Howes work ethic but as mentioned above, if it's attitude that's a problem then he has no future here with where we want to go. Fingers crossed, this could be the making of the man.

Can see Brighton plummeting like a stone down the table tbh. Thought they were pretty poor, granted I know we drag teams down to our level sometimes. -

Games like the second half are perfect for shelvey. Lots of space and time to actually impact a game. Shame that rarely happens and he is fucking liability for the rest. Can't wait til he goes but get the feeling this isn't the last of him for us just yet. -
Nice to see him looking fucking livid after the match and sticking around to watch the players post game. This poor sod and his mates have an absolutely mammoth task to change professionalism, reinstall the footballing basics and change a culture so many of our squad has been comfortable with. On evidence this season there are too many not interested enough, I hope he can get through to enough to give us a good chance here this season.

Well it's the second best result after winning I guess. Such a huge chance this game was for 3 points. Brighton weren't good. Lamptey was fantastic. We were maybe the worst I have seen us after a brighter start. Second half was better but the 3 points was there. This squad is so benefit of confidence, leadership on and off the pitch and the players have all regressed so much it is scary. Couldn't be a much bigger job for Howe and his team. I'm here for it though. I hope all out players are too. -
Probably Van Wilder to go to Norwich imo.

Fonseca in at Norwich!

Better since we put him on the wing where he should be. But disappointing for sure along with the shower around him. -

Can we count corners as shots on goal? Asking for a friend. We could double our tally. -

Literally afraid to go for the ball when it's in the box. -

Hayden has hidden, you get what you deserve playing shelvey. Miggy looks like he is regressing on the ball. -

It's almost as if putting someone that failed at Luton in charge wasn't a good idea. I like him, he clearly cares. I just wish some of our players did. This might be mission impossible for Howe. -

Not exactly impressed with Brighton so far. If we could control, pass the ball and communicate with each other we can get in this game absolutley. -

How Clark gets in ahead of Fernandez or schar is anyone's guess. He has always been fucking woeful and mistake central. -

Hayden has been a huge dissapointment for me since he actually committed to being here. Could be pen here. Unlucky
