Andy Townsend livid about the penalty. Makes me love it even more.
-
This. Fair play all round. Miggy and Murphy were outstanding. Wilson continues to be a beautiful man. Defence were solid.

Survived. Lol

Great stuff

Hate seeing ASM go off but he probably needs it to keep fit.
-
That touch from miggy. Fuck me.
-
He had a nice flick on from a long ball yesterday and looked shocked that not one Newcastle player was within 15 yards of him. He will soon acclimatize and get over the culture shock.
-
Aye. Despite him playing well regardless, Miggy should have been there. Similar to Joelinton the game before. Oh he has been playing much better in this position, excellent, lets put him somewhere else.
-
Yep. From someone who works there. You been dog whispering again Yorkie? Jobs for the (good)boys again.

This. Busiest goalkeeper in the league. Statisitcally the most saves. This is the player we hoped we signed from Forest. Happy for him. Might ultimately be flawed to play at the highest level but he has stepped up and been fantastic this year when we needed him most.

Fair play. To field the most attacking line up in recent memory yet serve up reasonably sound defensive football with no offence (other than on the eyes) is quite the achievement. It was literally like Bruce said, fuck em, they want attacking footballer, I will give them all the attackers... then make them play as defensive as possible. No doubt more "work in progress" spin to be heard after this. "Even when I play attacking formations the players are so ingrained to play defensive football." Wolves were sub par. Fair to say ASM and a few others were sub par for us too. Our players are good at following defensive instructions. Our lack of dominating midfielders that can dictate play was on show again.

Perhaps the leaking of these plans was done to specifically pressure the PL into accepting the original Big Picture plans (where the top six have full control)? Although generally speaking I think a Super League has been always been unavoidable. If the Big project plans went ahead they would have just proposed and voted in favour of this European League at the earliest opportunity. The way they wanted less domestic games just ties in to how these proposals were in fact a part of the Big picture proposals. Exactly this! They would have monopolized the English league system and been in control with the Super League. Guaranteed the narrative will be played off as the Premier League and naysayers rejecting the chance to save lower league clubs and in the process driving these big clubs with no options to the Super League. They would have done that anyway. Fuck them. Already looks like they aren't convinced and want to test the waters by remaining in their home leagues until they know for certain it benefits them most to fully break away.

“I wonder if the linesman had flagged earlier (for offside), rather than waiting for it with that ridiculous rule, then who knows, it might have been averted. Aye but also then keeping him on for the rest of the game probably didn't help you welpnuckle. Question is, can we cope with Fat Sam returning when Bruce eventually does walk or get the boot?

Newcastle United 1-4 Manchester United - 17/10/2020 - post match from p18

The wheels will fall off soon. Darlow probably out and Gillespie the only first team goalie left. Hayden joins both longstaff brothers in the treatment room. Now our only fit back up defender will have to play in DM. Good thing we didnt need another CB or CM and let our best CB go on loan. -

"Newcastle havent made it easy for Man united." Well yeah other than all the times we did and the three times we let them score. Oops four now. "Bruce will have lots to take out of this game" yep but not in the way you are suggesting and he wont take out the things needed to make any meaningful changes moving forward. -

Sterling work from Bruce here. Playing Darlow injured giving the impression he doesnt rate Gillespie as a better option than an injured player. Then next week and maybe longer he will have to play a demoralized Gillespie because he has further injured Darlow. -
