They were one of the club's linked to Schar before season end weren't they? Had history being linked to lascelles and Lejeune too.
-
Also almost certainly not Viera.. Don't click on the link it's almost as grim as now. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/32980980 "Patrick Vieira was also considered as an option to become the next boss of the Magpies. However, both parties opted not to pursue a possible deal following differences over recruitment and transfer policy." Same policies they are reverting back to.

Kenyon can buy the club with parachute payments before too long. Just give it a year.

Rumored latest state of play: - Ashley wants to know current takeover state of play. Like he doesn't know. - will then decide if we hire a medium or short term manager. Conclusion: - we wait another two weeks before he releases his next, "I don't know still, I'm frustrated too" message to save two more weeks of coaching staff wages and no transfers. - then the "time wasters message after another week or two or silence. (At which point shola is out of training drills but the entire squad can ride a bike eating and Apple like pros) - we hire a short term coach dug up from his pannini Italia 90 sticker album.
-
The reality is it will probably be worse than even that. We will get turned down by venables, zola, stuart pearce, vialli, and Gerry Francis along the way to our destination john Gregory.

Viera doesn't look anything special so far but would be a commanding presence. Arteta reportedly already has concerns as he should. Not convinced by van bronckhorst, gattuso or genesio. They have managed big club's but only the first gas been particularly successful and only at one club. I don't see it being anyone in a job. We won't pay compensation and they won't give up a good gig for a potential short term contract. Reckon Gary Monk is a strong contender. Moyes or allardyce (the latter will probably work under the ridiculous conditions if the money is right) too.

Better still if the players did the same. They have to be fucking seething. Best central defence collectively I have seen at this club. Fully expect at least the better half will be gone come September.
-
Roeder was a shepherd hire and fire. Never begrudged him, he was out of his depth but don't blame him for taking the job on. He probably should have walked sooner though.

As if fucking Gerrard would be interested after the way we treated rafa. In fact replace Gerrard with anyone competent. Given we are now apparently looking for an interim manager the pool has already diminished to exactly where we always thought it would be. The upside is the only sort or person likely to take the job is someone that will be easy to despise. Makes things simple.

I wasn’t lying and never fabricated evidence. Also, I think everyone is overreacting the whole Odin thing. Fair play, I either missed or purposely erased the tale end of the saga from my brain.

Why does anyone care. Everyone needs to put on big boy pants and move on. Forums have always been like this. People get so wound up these days by people posting stupid things. If you don't like something ignore it. There are better and more important things to get upset about going on outside of our screens. (Said having spent most of the past two days on his phone

Every morning in the mirror. Stone him.

How come stifles was a cheeky chapy during stavelygate and odin is being lined up for stoning? I don't really see why anyone would bother. Wish I had the free time to either go to those lengths to make it up or alternatively the time and effort to get upset at people being mongs on the internet. It's fucking endless.

Rafa did though Given the Odin situation, I realise that nobody will believe anything now, but i’ve heard a tiny little rumour that the replacement is already sorted, and was weeks ago. I don't doubt it. Pardew was sorted long before they canned hughton. Genesio and klinsmann were linked a couple of months ago. You really just have to go back and see who leached unto Ashley in a casino/club/burger king and that will be our man. It's why the Gary monk links ring true. Regardless like kinnear it will be someone No one would think possible.

Lee Clark must be fucking gutted he took the blythe job tbh.

To be honest I'm that disappointed after the way that quote started it didn't finish with..."not today"
-
Don't worry saivet will keep him out of the team. Lazaar fills the need to buy another left back.
-
Yeah, it'll be a kick in Sputniks if he's incompetent but quite nice. Tbf worst case is they somehow appoint someone competent that does well.
-
Someone found a magic mirror showing Odin photoshopping whatsapp now all hell is breaking loose.
-
No one has the mental and emotional interest and capability to start the who's next thread...yet.
-
Yeah but can you get your arms around this seany baby..

I doubt the club will ever even acknowledge the takeover attempts. BZG will fade away and cover their asses with a few statements of being disappointed, tried hard etc.

I used to think about one day having kids that would watch games with me. I have kids now, I don't think I want to put them through this shit. Absolutely gutting thought. Sure I'm not alone. This cunt has drained the soul and is killing traditions. I thanked Rafa on here at the end of the season as I thought it was the end then. Sadly predictable it's drawn out this long. Sadly predictable the protest tonight had dozens not hundreds. Hopefully they organized more and more people turn up tmrw.

Been shot down by Craig Hope. Bit extreme by Hope. "Desperate times.." I guess.

that's the thing though, it simply doesn't at all Well it does. He has proven time and time again he and his cronies have no clue on hires. They won't find someone that is capable enough to keep us up like rafa was and they won't spunk the same amount they did with schteevie. There won't be a better time to cash in under his ownership than now. Yes there is going to be the same portion of people that will turn up whatever but more and more people not related to the club are speaking up in the media against Ashley and more and more general fans are starting to understand what's going on. Whilst the "public pressure" is going to continue to build up it will never be the sole factor for selling. There are better business ventures out there for him without the growing hassle. He simply can't realise the financial potential here (which ironically would make him much richer) because he simply won't do the things neccesary to do it. The club will become an albatross around his neck especially when we go down. I still think he will asset strip us and fuck off. Likely we arent that lucky.
